A Rock album should be way ahead for her next album than a rap hip hop one. We already have enough of the trashy hiphop, Gaga should not be jumping on the bandwagon now. aaronyoji 2,054 Posted August 3, 2014 Share Posted August 3, 2014 is it really a good idea? not once has there been a hip hop influenced song on gaga's albums that actually push boundaries. or are that good, or feel cool or badass imo. also shes trying to evolve and grow as an artist after C2C, idk if that means trying to go urban, a lot of artists have sunk artistically by trying to pander to that route, aka madonna circa hard candy. Maybe an EP with the songs she did with Azealia replaced with relevant rappers is in order, though. Personally, for Album 5, I'm waiting for a Daft Punk produced disco/electronica record. Ha redemption album. I need her to colab with Kanye. I mean, they used to be friends right? I want her to explore something cinematic like MBDTF, with full orchestration and stuffs. She need to start clen, let go of her ego and the people's expectations. Even tho she says ARTPOP is the thing that she really wanted to do it feels like it's made as a compromise. To appease the label, the public, her fans and her artistry. Her past three albums, were fearless, she fought for them. No compromises. It was her vision. With ARTPOP I can see her filtering it to please others. The next album will be very crucial. It's either the nail to the coffin or be her redemption. Can't really say tho. It's like it doesn't fit her, it doesn't sound natural. If we talk about R&B it would be another thing, because clearly she does good with that genre. But I wouldn't say that a "GaGa ft. Kanye" would be a bad thing, I think they could work something out because they are almost equally creative wise. I will always be sad for the tour being cancelled... x.X Add: I must also say that maybe this "the one she is writing right now" could finally be a good answer to give when people ask her that question all the time tho'.
