Antidote 95
It's hard to tell tbh. I believe that Gaga showed how she really feels about her with the tweets. She probably doesn't dislike her in general but of course she's pissed because Katy copies her so often and doesn't even try to hide it
Mills 446
I don't think they're friends nor do I think they truly dislike each other. They've never said anything outright nasty about one another, just silly little shady comments, and a lot of it gets taken out of proportion by the media. They don't really have much to do with each other. Same here. I'd like to believe there's no personal bad blood between the two, considering they were rather cordial with each other way back in late 2008/early 2009. Katy Perry was even featured on a Gaga-vision (episode 36) where they playfully kissed each other. In another old footage of the two, Katy confessed that she's a "huge fan" of Gaga and even called her as "the next Madonna but better". And despite of the Alejandro MV/Twitter drama back in 2010, Katy still covered Born This Way a year later. That to me was a clear sign that she was a "fan". I couldn't count how many times she has directly tweeted Gaga to either congratulate her or say a birthday greeting. We couldn't outright say that they're friends, in the same way we couldn't really say they're enemies. But with the constant comparisons by the media and their respective fanbases alike since the rise of the two in 2008, they're most likely (and naturally) already irked by it. Not to mention, any rival label would want their signed artist to be able to outshine and outsell a huge pop force like Gaga. As I see it, I believe it's nothing personal, just strictly business. Phlop 4,773
They dislike eachother. They can be respectful but they have shaded eachother enough times in their careers. They're just very different and I don't see them really getting along. BYE
IHE 563
They do not like each other. If they were not famous, Gaga would have told her to get fukked ages ago. Katy is pressed for obvious reasons. That and intellectually, Gaga is miles above her. They have nothing in common except they are in the same field of work, then again, Gaga doesn't see it as work. Gaga has a close nit group of old school friends around who she supports and loves as well as a successful relationship that plays out in the beautiful music she creates. She is also very active in her work and friendships with icons of fashion and music and she maintains those artistic relationships beyond the projects they do together. She has the Grammy awards that show the fruit of her labors and friendships. Katy seems to attach herself to other famous people for short periods of time in order to fulfill her needs then she moves on quickly to the next thing and she gets caught up in romances that falter when she over shares or writes songs about them. I think it comes off as shallow and cheap when those relationships falter as soon as those songs hit the airwaves, like Unconditionally. John and Unconditionally were failures to an extent. I just don't think Katy is the talented quality person that Gaga is and for that reason, I don't think Gaga likes her at all. It's like "b---h, get off my coattails, I'm trying to walk this red carpet." Why associate with people who don't support you and hold you up? Any niceness between them is purely for publicity. Wet Fire 7,511
I won't be surprized if Gaga does dislike Katy. I mean, that horrible voice can welcome industry's own doom. Anyway, as a person, Katy doesn't show any concern about her loyalty to her own beliefs. One day she says Alejandro is blasphemous, the next day she releases Dark Horse. Her studio versions of some songs are pretty amazing. But when she goes on stage to sing live, then...I don't think I need to say anything more, with all due respect to Katy. Oh and in 2011 vmas she turned up with a yellow cube on head thinking, " F U Gaga", then Gaga leaves Katy awestruck by turning up as aale alter ego. Who even thought that? Katy insulted Gaga's love for us. She might dislike Gaga coz she can actually sing live, dance, have epic concepts about an album, design, direct videos, write her own songs, perform humaniterian works, give flawless poses in photoshoots, play piano and guitar (kind of) both, produce her own songs, have two songs fully written by herself ( Speechless, Yoü and I), have a song fully produced by herself (Venus), slay in acting, make truly amazing dance music, aim for something that's bigger than success, flop but still keep making quality music, win a grammy, can shoot real flair from boobs (Pyro bra), have the world's first flying dress, collaborate with icons and Legends like Tony Bennett, Beyoncé, Brian May, Clarence Clemons, Marina Abravomic, Robert Wilson, Jeff Koons. Gaga doesn't need to dislike Katy coz she's clearly someone out of this stupid rat race of chart success, she's a true artist who's gone through a lot and knows a lot. But even if she does dislike Katy, Gaga is not the one to be blamed.

Ronk 14,762
Like most stars, Gaga and Katy are above all that. Stars know that the other stars are just making their way through life and career, each in their own way. It's only their fans that are pressed. I live outside the space time continuum. I'm really hoping Gaga puts out a new HBO documentary special. HBO so it won't have any boundaries.

Ladey Gagz 2,512
I don't get why everyone is saying Dark Horse was blasphemy? But they don't dislike each other. A few silly comments on twitter does not make them dislike each other :dead:
DeleteMyAccount 11,881
i really enjoyed it but it really was bad, too cheesy, too fake :/ For me, I felt like the film was trying to make me feel bad for Katy. With the whole breakup scene and such. There wasn't anything revealing or realistic if that makes any sense. Again, that's probably because it was released to theaters. I don't get why everyone is saying Dark Horse was blasphemy? But they don't dislike each other. A few silly comments on twitter does not make them dislike each other :dead: I think it was because there was a scene where an Allah necklace was burnt into flames. I don't remember. But that isn't really blasphemy.
