I was hyped until I found out the changed a bunch of important plot points to make it more "family friendly"

It could become campy cult like Hocus Pocus tho. :legend:

It's not a campy musical, though. It's actually pretty dark and has some fairly deep messages. The whole second act of the musical is actually pretty ****ed up.

You're aware they drastically changed parts of the story, right?

 

I think the changes have the potential to ruin the movie but I guess we'll see

This is honestly the most ridiculous musical I've ever seen. It's terribly chaotic to the point were it is no longer enjoyable, only strenuous to watch.

Hocus Pocus is campy, Into the Woods isn't. I mean it kind of is in the beginning, but it's because the show is about portraying that our fantasies don't always work in reality and how we overcome that. So the first half is dealing with these fantasy stories we all know and love and the second half is about the characters coming to terms with reality after the endings to the stories we all know.
