ryhanna 3,507
I thought it was generally a brilliant episode. Noah is starting to annoy me already along with Gabriel, they just seem to be so useless like what exactly are they bringing into the group? I heard that on the talking dead they said we will be seeing a familiar face from the comics in next weeks episode, I'm pretty sure i know who its going to be but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Agreed on Noah and Gabriel. I don't like either character that much and the actors don't do much for me. I know who you're talking about and I'm 100% sure it is that person. Which means exciting things are ahead!

Yeah, I mean I was never a fan of Gabriel in the comics so I was very Meh when he came into the show but Noah will hopefully be gone once Morgan joins the group. Yeah i actually can't want to see the set for Alexandria or The Hilltop and actually the Saviours factory/building and how the show will do lakers around the gates. Did you think there was any foreshadowing towards A certain villain at the Shirewilt estate in last nights episode?

Did you think there was any foreshadowing towards A certain villain at the Shirewilt estate in last nights episode? Yeah, I don't like Comic Gabriel either. There's a lot of potential in a priest but he's done next to nothing. If he's going to be similar in the show i'd rather they just kill him off anyway. As for the foreshadowing, did you mean the heads and chopped up bodies? If so, I'm not sure… I'm thinking maybe that's just the beginning of an original story for the back half of season 5/early season 6. Maybe the people that attack Alexandria, and the gunfire draws in the mega herd. I don't think it's foreshadowing Negan, but it would make sense, seeing as the heads were loaded into the truck and Negan uses walker torsos for defence. If you're talking about Glenn picking up the bat - then nah. I thought that was waaaaay too obvious to be foreshadowing. Probably more likely that the writers are throwing us off, and Glenn won't die that way at all. I mean, it's the second time Glenn's been around baseball bats this season, and both times it's been emphasised a lot. If that's their way of foreshadowing Glenn's death, then they need to learn a thing or two about subtlety.

What about Noah's mum with her head like caved in Also I thought that the fires in the houses looked A lot like Alexandria when Negan and the saviours threw grenades in them. Also what could "Wolves aren't far" mean? I don't know if anyone else noticed that when they were travelling to Shirewilt,Michonne saw a burnt out barn/house which also had "Wolves aren't far" but it wasn't very clear, although i saw it straight away I know loads completely missed it. Melech 9,900
Was it? That's so cool!! *************************** I thought it was an interesting way to bring back some past characters by way of another's impending death. The sign in the bedroom doorway read, "Dead End", the inky black stain (of blood) on a neat and perfect picture... so much like real life now for them... but who on Earth is doing these horrible things to people? Chopping them up and / or burning them?! More evil people.... makes me second look at people I meet... I think to myself, who would YOU be in a zombie apocalypse? A Rick, a Governor, a Gareth...? This show has me tormented. The real torment though, was only seeing 5 seconds of Daryl!!! I wondered that too tbh I firstly thought because of the wolves. Because in the trailer for next episodes were wolves or dogs shown. And on a wall in the latest episode were a saying on a wall with "Wolves aren't far away" or something like that. Maybe it was food for them. Mess at my theory
Jase 13,256
Excellent episode. Beautifully shot and I loved watching parts of the episode from the victims POV - I don't think they've ever done that before.

Yeah, I missed the "wolves not far" sign until the internet pointed it out. For anyone else that didn't notice it, it's on the bricks behind Michonne in this scene. Some people also noticed that the torsos that fell out of the truck had "W" carved into the forehead. One theory is that the people who cut up the bodies and attacked Noah's community were a group of people who call themselves the Wolves. But in the trailer for the next episode, there's a short shot where you can actually see some dogs or wolves coming out of the bushes. That, combined with the wire that we saw as the group walked towards Noah's place, make me think that maybe the sign was a warning for actual wolves in the area, and not a group. But that still leaves the mysterious "W" and the cut up bodies.

ryhanna 3,507
Whatever the case, Noah's place was definitely attacked by people. Wonder if we'll find out who...

I love trying to figure this show out. ****************************** Anyway, it just hit me that they traveled 500 miles without incident? They ran into road blocks in GA of abandoned cars, but on a 500 mile stretch of highway, not one roadblock or jam? I guess they didn't want to show that since it had been done before, but then it makes me think they should have traveled way before now, instead of staying in GA for almost 5 seasons. Guest
Brilliant episode! I loved the way they killed Tyreese, making it seem like there's still hope for him. This part of the season looks very promising and keeps reminding us that morals are out of place. The wolves theories are so exciting, I can't wait!! :excited2:

n0ne 13,105
Great episode, but depressing as ****. I loved the indie and arty feel of the episode, it reminded me of the 2nd half of season 4.
