They're not following the comics. After the cannibals were dealt with everyone went to Washington.

Thank you for answering my question.

I guess it creates a lot more drama to have them split up again.  Rick's group needs to stay in Georgia for the storylines with Morgan, Beth, Daryl and Carol and Father Gabriel.

I definitely don't think they'll do anything to Carol, per se. She's well liked by everyone, I don't think they'd do anything to her.

You're welcome. :)

It's probably easier for character development with such a large cast, too. To split them into groups to focus on rather than try to throw everything into a few scenes with one group.

split them to give them more screen time and for character development makes more sense

but their reunion seems ended too fast, I wanted them to catch up more, and talked about the things that happened when they split

it just seems like the don't care about some of them that were missing like the kids and beth

I'm surprised Maggie was so easily willing to just go with them to D.C., considering her sister is still missing and all.

Me too… I'm kind of disappointed that Maggie's coming across as kind of indifferent towards finding Beth. I mean, she's probably given up hope because Beth is alone and weaker than everyone else, but I wish she'd at least say that rather than ignoring it completely.

Tomorrow we will find out where Beth is! This reminds me of The Last of Us tbh.

In the game there's an organization that tries to cure the outbreak and experiments with humans. Maybe that's why they're keeping her? I hope Carol is fine, though

Ambrosia

I recently discovered this series and have been jonesing hard for more.  I started watching S1 about a week ago, and am now on S3, E.13.  I can't bear it though.  I know something awful is going to happen with the Governor.  There are always big changes right before the season's end, and as badly as I want to finish S3 and move on to the 4th, I've been putting off the horror of what I think might happen.

This show is so much more than what I thought it would be - which is why I put off watching for so long.  I love the literary elements, symbolism, and constant struggle for humanity vs. survival.  It's a great show, if I'm not crying my eyes out.  :giggle:
