Wow the skirt has so many things you only notice up close. It's so pretty! It's great that GaGa saw the tweets and found out about her. Hope she gets to meet her soon.

As someone who was there I have to tell you all: I was the first person to commend Martin Dario Gonzalez.
He did an extremely selfless act to give the skirt to Krissy.

I don't condone the stealing of it, but I fully understand WHY the theft happened: we are a rabid, souvenir hungry fanbase. We as a fanbase often think with our reptilian brains on some issues! It's too tempting a prize for some people to ignore.

A lot of things are falling from the stage/ceiling (confetti, Beanie Babies, glowing toys) or being thrown onto the stage: fanmade outfits for Gaga to wear, plush toys, letters, inflatable toys, ect,ect,ect..) The dancers kick a lot of that back so Gaga can walk and so that safety is ensured.

I can understand that a piece of clothing Gaga discarded just sitting there on a catwalk would be an overwhelming temptation to some people. Essentially, like raw fresh meat a few feet from a lion.... it doesn't have a prayer. The question is: what does a reasonable person do? I wouldn't have stolen it, but that's just me. I think they realized once they had taken it, once they had given in to that animal impulse of 'get, take, keep' ... that it wasn't the right thing to keep it. So they did the closest thing to the right thing they could: give it to Krissy, give her the chance to return it.

But to all those who say I didn't give Martin Dario credit, believe me, I did commend him. He chose to give a chance to meet Gaga away -- to someone who suffered during the show. He did the closest thing to the right thing he could.

And believe me, I didn't go hunting for this article to happen. Of all the exits in the entire Staples center, I just happened to leave out of the one where Jaime was outside, and he recognized my GagaDaily badge, and started talking to me. This story was MEANT to be as it happened.

I'm so happy for Krissy  true miracles happening and that fan has a pure heart for wanting to give it back to Gaga! God I love our fanbase, and wtf @ Gaga's driver just keeping driving when she clearly said "Stop" :lmao: I hate Gaga's team sometimes.

That was an amazing story! :) But kinda sad also, all Krissy wanted is to meet Gaga and give her skirt back... But i'm sure everyone will have plenty good memories from the show + the skirt adventure you had together :)

I DO really commend the guy for giving her the skirt because that is really selfless and awesome.

I can't commend taking it in the first place, though. I don't think he was intending on Gaga getting it back when he gave it to Krissy. If he really wanted her to have it back, he would have just given it to someone who could get it back to her. Giving it to another fan, as cool as that was, is not the way to do that.

And it's really not exceptionally hard to leave things that are aupposed to be on the stage...on the stage. If he hadn't have decided to give it to Krissy/if she hadn't been there, Gaga would just be without the skirt. The only way I would have ever grabbed it is if I saw someone else about to snatch it so I could make sure it went back to Gaga and not home with someone else.

I'm happy with the way it all turned out though (minus the driver not stopping). Krissy did the right thing in returning it, and so what if she wanted to see if she could meet Gaga in return? It's not as if she refused to give it back unless she got to meet her. She made sure it got back to its proper owner regardless.

I hope she gets to meet her!!

@Katie me too! We are trying to Tweet Gaga and Lacee's twitter with Krissy's handle of @krissyjoann so that she can hook up with them!

Is there a certain tweet out there for people to retweet? That might make it easier to sort of make "viral" if there is. :)
