Daily Mail Praises Gaga's weight gain "curvaceous"

Am I the only one that thinks they're not praising her weight gain?

They're more like stating that she has gained weight and making a big and unnecessary deal of it.

She looks good to me either way. Whether she's super skinny or more curvy, she makes it work. Plus, it's her body so I'm happy with whatever she's happy with.

Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.

thats not curvy she was thin at that time lol

Its not super thin. Its healthy. She looks active but not too muscular, isn't anorexic, and a plump booty.

I'm really not fond of when she gets too round, only because of the clothes she wears.

The way that article brought up her weight so many times was sickening. They open it up talking about how she's "packing on" the pounds, then in the outfits that are more slimming they're quick to point out how they "cover" her and mention how slimming they are.

If she were gaining an unhealthy amount of weight, I would say it's okay for people to say "Hey Gags, what's up?", just like I'd expect them to do the same if she was losing weight at an unhealthy rate. But she's still in a good range, and as we've seen the last 6+ years now, Gaga's weight fluctuates a lot but the only time it's ever been cause for concern was when she dropped weight because of the stress she was putting her body through back during TFM days.

Just...ugh. I love that they balanced out the body image talk with positive commentary on her stage outfits, but it'd be such a better article if they hadn't focused on her weight at all.

I don't get how she typically seems to gain weight during tours but tone up when she's not touring. Shouldn't it be the opposite?

She looks way better in this photo than she does with her current muffin top.

But of course people will say otherwise, its politically incorrect not to.

The media tends to enjoy women that are thin. It's wrong for a woman to be curvy. Actually it's politically incorrect to say you like a curvy woman.

"Her current muffin top" how rude.  I'm not surprised you love the way she looks in that photo and this is why women have so many body issues.

Blah blah blah. Same old nonsense from this fanbase.

The media romanticizes both thin and curvy frames. The old rules you're referring to no longer apply in 2014. What the media responds to negatively are ugly people. People that don't have the glamorous curves of Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose.

Meanwhile these days "regular" people like to passive aggressively strike down thin frames, as the first comment in this thread insults her thin figure which was also technically rude but of course youre not going to respond to their comment scolding them. You scold me for not thinking that at her height her current weight looks unflattering. I think Gaga is dope, this is not my opinion of her as a human being or an artist. Im just talking aesthetics. You have a right to disagree and think she looks better with some pudge on her belly. But don't take out that personal frustration on me.

Ignorance is bliss. I'll leave you here. Someone else will probably drag you to the pits. They need to because your comment was rude as hell.
