Should a government allow its citizens to be subjected to random rocket attacks on a daily basis? If your country was being attacked by rockets and you had to scramble for a bomb shelter a few times a day, you would be demanding your government do something to stop it. And Hamas is firing rockets at Tel Aviv. Are you aware that Israel agreed to a cease fire several days ago and Hamas refused? Why does Hamas launch rockets from and hide weapons in civilian areas? Because they want to invite Israeli attacks that will kill their own people so they can play the victim on the world stage. It's up to Lady Gaga if she wants to go ahead with her show in Israel, but I hope she completely educates herself about what is going on there and does not make a knee jerk decision based on propaganda. Israeli goverment is opressing and killing innocent Palestinians, bombing kids on beach, for God's sake. You all pee in your pants if she mentions gay rights in Russia, but she should be quiet about genocide? No dammit. If she's really peace activist she should speak out for what is right. I agree with this. But I also think it'd be unfortunate for her fans there. What kind of escape do they have from what's going on? Israel loves Gaga a lot, and she's coming to perform for her fans and not for the government. Well generally, fans who would see her in tel Aviv are living pretty much safe life and have high standard, there are American Jews, Russian Jews, etc they travel abroad all the time, so they could even see her in Istanbul or Dubai if they wanted to. Her fans from Gaza or Lebanon wouldn't be allowed to see her there anyway, also with constant bomb attacks, they think of their survival not concerts. Then why does she tour in the US since their government killed hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq? Is she an activist selectively? She's born there. It's different. People can protest in USA and not everyone agrees with their "war on terror", and they have paid army while in Israel both men and women serve the military and this concert just brings more profit to their government plus it's like an advertisment for them and support for them while they're butchering another nation whose land they stole.
