G.U.Y. and Applause are both too good. The videos were perfect, but she did not have the promotional material like she done with TFM and TF. That is why those eras slayed award ceremonies. So a meltdown would have happened either way. I don't care if she doesn't win, she needs to get nominated, the public needs to know there is an artist called Lady Gaga who exists in this world, and that she is a singer and she makes music. VMA is the bridge to revive her and to show people that despite the negative response people gave to ARTPOP, she still manages to get some nom, but now I think we should protest.
