Can we start posting good news as well? Of course! Everyone can post updates on here. Something one of my professors said is that Cuba has sent the most doctors to Liberia. Bear 7,515
I hate the lack of control we have over ebola, and I hate that we can't seem to contain it faster. http://www.nextgov.com/health/2014/10/hhs-awards-contract-ebola-vaccine-shown-be-100-percent-effective-animal-tests/96536/?oref=nextgov_today_nl https://news.yahoo.com/china-sends-ebola-d--g-africa-eyes-clinical-trials-074300483--finance.html It's not much but it's something. Dayman 6,251
I'm going to give my most honest opinion on this. They aren't telling us everything about the virus. They are not TRYING to contain the virus. They're still letting infected people travel. Ebola IS airborne, but it can't travel far at all. If you're in the room with someone who has it, you Will catch it. Not just through body fluids. Ebola is not airborne - it spreads via bodily fluids. If someone sneezes though those particles are launched across a short distance. You're not guaranteed to get it if you're in close quarters with it - but if you are within ten feet of someone throwing up, cough, sneezing, etc. from Ebola - than your chances of getting it increase. It's most contagious during the later stages of the virus which is why health care workers are the ones to have been infected first. The Dallas patients family cared for him for a few days before he got violently I'll - they have at this point still shown no symptoms and are most likely in the clear of having the virus. Airborne Ebola would means it lives floating in the air - this is not the case. It must be in some kind of moisture to transmit.

Well if anything, now that there are ebola cases in Europe and America, people WILL start to take the outbreak more seriously.

It wasn't smart of her going on those planes, though. She looked like she was doing okay. I'm guessing they caught it early so hopefully she gets better.
