There were three people that came from Africa but there didn't show any symptoms. I think one is under observation. However, I do heard about a suspect in Brasil. If the preliminary diagnosis is confirmed, it would be the first known case of the disease being contracted or transmitted in the U.S. Dr. Tom Frieden, head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said the diagnosis shows there was a clear breach of safety protocol and all those who treated Thomas Eric Duncan are now considered potentially exposed. The more people are infected, the more chances it has to mute. If the virus thrives, it won't mutate. When the virus DOESN'T thrive, it looks for ways to spread and find hosts more easily, thus ensuring its survival. This is the same thing with colds. The cold virus doesn't mutate because it's common. The cold virus has mutated into several strains because we have enough medicine to fight off and become immune to most strains, so the virus mutates so that we have a harder time curing it. So basically, there is no reason why Ebola should mutate any time soon. But that last line in bold. USA has no idea what it's doing right now. I hope Gaga is safe. It's true though.
