darkwolf 590
That's just not true at all idk where to even start But that's true, antibiotics are effective against living organisms, like bacteria; not viruses :http://curiosity.discovery.com/question/antibiotics-immune-to-viruses Maybe antibiotics are used to treat the other infections that the virus can cause (internal and external bleeding), but they don't treat the virus itself. If it was treatable with antibiotics it would have been easy

Economy 52,861
I thought you couldnt recover from Ebola ? Ebola causes blood clots, hemerrages etc besides the fever itself In some severe cases, survivors have some permanent damage unfortunately. In many cases tho survivors do make a full recovery. Its a very seere virus. Odds are against u that ull survive to begin with, and if you do, sometimes some damage can be irreperable. It all depends on how severe u got it i guess I've heard a doctor say there are different strains of the virus, some more virulent than others, that's why the chances range from 50% to 90%.yes but this is a simmilar strain that has killed 90% of ppl Its just that medical intervential has reduced fatalities this time! Economy 52,861
That's just not true at all idk where to even startno i think hes actually right actually Antibiotics are for bacteria not viruses if i recall but im not 100% sure
darkwolf 590
3 069 cases, 1 552 dead now. And 40% of them contracted the virus in the last 3 weeks, this is starting to get really scary no i think hes actually right actually Antibiotics are for bacteria not viruses if i recall but im not 100% sure Yes. Viruses are not even considered really "living organisms", they are just pieces of dna but when they get into a cell they become active and start replicating themselves. It even almost impossible to get totally get rid of a virus onces it enters your body ^^.

Ambrosia 3,775
I don't think I am comprehending the whole sending TROOPS to COMBAT Ebola?? For one thing, they aren't medical personnel-- and Ebola is an enemy we can't see - you can't exactly shoot at it or tell it to "stand down." This is very dangerous and risky for not only them but everyone they come in contact with when (God willing) they arrive back home. Some things Obama has done of late has me confused and rattled. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
