TOSK 640
Well, it's not easily transmitted unless it mutates to airborne and then we're all Flucked
Tropico 4,145
Ebola hasn't even arrived in South Africa yet tho :megaflop: A South African has been quarantined in Nigeria, but no cases have been confirmed yet (correct me if you know otherwise, I have heard absolutely nothing, nor seen anything in the news). We'll be fine. Or well I'll be fine. I have no one to kiss, nor do I touch sweaty people You're right. I don't even know why I'm being so paranoid. And I don't touch sweaty people either... Nor do I have people to kiss. :emma: ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Noel Kahn 2
This sounds like the game Plague Inc. I AM SCARED I WAS ACTUALLY THINKING OF THE SAME THING. I played the game the other day then about a week later I read the news about the first confirmed case in the US. I'm scared.

Ambrosia 3,775
American NBC journalist tests positive for Ebola in Liberia: http://news.yahoo.com/american-cameraman-nbc-news-diagnosed-ebola-liberia-004538346.html That is terrifying for that poor man. :( It doesn't say as to how he contracted it. I would think that someone having to work over there would take special precautions. Wouldn't he be extra careful not to touch anyone? Makes me wonder in what total ways it is really spread. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
CHROMATICA 2020 477
But if the reporter came FROM Liberia then it's not like the virus originated from here. I mean, don't get me wrong, I really hope that it doesn't spread any more but, for example, if no one else came from over there then there's nothing to worry about. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's hard to spread so we'll be fine as long as they monitor all that may have it.

Bear 7,515
The Dallas man may have lied on a questionnaire before boarding the plane for the return journey (he is being prosecuted). A woman he visited and spent time with, once he returned to the USA, failed to comply with a request to remain at home and is now under a confinement order. Dammit if we want this to stay under control we need people to be more compliant
