People who doesn't live in Israel or Gaza doesn't know nothing about the conflict, not even USA. I don't think anybody has an unbiased view on this, it's way too complicated. My mom's in Palestine right now, she went there recently with the UN and just now, the most important UN compound on the Gaza strip was attacked by Israel. They claim that rockets were fired from there but they weren't. And the allegations of using people are shields can't be more wrong. People have nowhere to go and Israel is using the conflict as an opportunity to kill. People are being warned no more than 30-50 seconds in advance and even if they run, they're still bombed since the blast radius is pretty large for the missiles. I can't even begin to explain my emotions right now. I'm off to talk to my mom now... Everyone's free to fight over who's right and who's wrong but I've said what just happened to my mother's compound right now who is not Palestinian or an hamas affiliate fyi :cry: So happy to hear that your mother is safe! I tend to believe that an organization which use schools, hospitals and houses as weapon storages will dare to use a UN building too. UN is armed too ... so why do they let that happen ? Dolev 867 Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 They've just formally apologised for attacking btw, finally confirming that their intel was wrong and "under pressure", the missiles were shot at the wrong UN compound. Another thing, it has also been confirmed that the UN camps that were allegedly holding ammo were not UN camps at all. All 200 or so of them have just been audited. That is why they were there just now. The UN school previously seen was a makeshift school that was abandoned later. It was empty (no UN workers etc in there) because obv, they can't be used to store Ammo for Hamas if the UNDSS and UNICEF was actually in the buildings... Well if that's the case than I'm sorry to hear that. Mistakes are being done in a war.
