Let's just not start to talk on human decency in Arab countries tyvm

If you want to boast about how humane a country is, you shouldn't have to compare it to the most barbaric countries on earth  :laughga:

The long lasting Arab-Israeli conflict makes me sick.

Until both - Israel and Palestine - don't fully support a two-state-solution directed by the UN nothing will change...

And the cynicism of the OP is unbearable!

The armed wing of the Palestinian group Hamas has rejected an Egyptian-proposed ceasefire in the Gaza conflict, according to its official website.

The Qassam Brigades said on Tuesday that it had not been sent details about the "alleged initiative" from any side, "officially or unofficially".

The statement said that excerpts published in the media showed it was an initiative of "bowing and submission", and added "it was not worth the ink it was written with".

"Our battle with the enemy will continue and will increase in ferocity and intensity," it added.

Earlier, Israeli officials said Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister, would convene his security cabinet to discuss the proposal.

The official told the Reuters news agency that the meeting will take place later on Tuesday.

The proposed truce would start on Tuesday morning, and be followed by talks on a long-term ceasefire.

Khaled al-Batch, a senior leader of the Islamic Jihad armed group, said that the group welcomed "Egypt's role and efforts to end the Israeli aggression and defend the Palestinian people" but will not accept the ceasefire without conditions.

This was taken from Al-Jazeera Site, so let's not start with the Propaganda nonsense.

I wanted to post this thread here because I feel there is is misconception of some people here that refuse to look at the bigger picture.

There is no side to blame here. Both of the sides should stop the violence because it will lead to absolutely no where.

Although Israel agreed to the ceasefire, Hamas didn't. So let's think again on what's Hamas' real intentions.

Not surprised, Hamas has said they will never accept the state of Israel so they will fight until the state is no more. But by all means, the israelis are apparently the terrorists.

I've said it before, you can't make with terrorists and Hamas shows no sign of slowing down their military actions. What can one do.

Well honestly I've kind o had enough of Israel's government, the day Palestine is free and that the Israeli population will mix with rest of the world I'll worry about Hamas and it's terrorist intentions.

But Hamas is united with Abu Mazen, the leader of the Palestinian Government. How can Israel make peace with a terror organization?

I still don't get it.

I am really supporting Palestine to be free and to be an independent country. The question is when and in what case it'll happen.

You can't make peace with a terror organization that it's intention are clear to everyone. No side will be happy.

What needs to happen is an agreement that includes no support in terror that will eventually lead to a better future with no violence.

I meant Free palestine as in Israel doesn't exist as a government at all. I'm here for Palestine regaining control of the WHOLE territory. The Israeli should be allowed to remain and live in Palestine if they wish to, but I just want this Vile government to completely disappear.

compared to israel's defence forces and the mortality rate for both sides, i think we can both agree that to say they are essentially defenceless in comparison is not a stretch.

Well I dont understand the shaming of Israel for having an advanced defense system? It doesn't justify what Hamas is doing. Just because the death count in Israel isn't as high as in Palestine, doesn't mean they are by any means more cruel. Hamas has probably launched more rockets and missiles against Israel than the other way around. Statistics is just a cheap way to prove a point

So you want a terror organization to rule over the whole territory? Well I don't.

I am completely here for having two countries in one territory if it means Israel and Palestine living together peacefully.

I am definitely not here for a terror organization to rule the territory and cause even more hatred and it won't ever happen as well so

Realistically, the only option right now is two countries in one territory but that is only if the two sides will have peace and economic relationship with each other.

I'm not here for it either but I'd rather have the Israeli government disappear and I'm completely against two states, Israel stole the land, /end of discussion. Palestine should be able to get back what was stolen from it. Again Israeli people should be able to stay
