While the statements that some Jews make just come from a place of blaming and generalizing, and well, hate. I'm not justifying racism from any side, oh hell I'm not, but the exact opposite. My point stands clear though, its the Arabs that are facing the racism in Israel and its society, not the other way around. Ufcourse. I didn't deny that most of the racism goes to the Arabs in this country. But the Racism is not that strong.. it's mostly just stupid extreme rights and they are a minority so. It's not the generation of 1948. And if you were offered to live somewhere after the holocaust, I am sure you wouldn't think for two seconds on who is living there as well. But once you reach an age where you can choose then you should leave the country and live elsewhere or stay in israel and fight against the war israel is doing.. and how is what I said racist? For example, just today ; my relative that came to visit us from New York (which happens to be Arab) was going back to NYC, and right now, as we're discussing, she is being totally uncomfortably checked and treated in a horrible way (and in a non direct way too) simply because she's Arab, lord knows why they had to call the management to "make sure" that she really had a flight appointment or w/e? while others were just checked and passed. and this is not just one case, I'm talking about MANY CASES, I just gave the most recent one as an example. The same thing happened with my best friend's relatives (a whole family), they literally pushed it too far by unloading all of their bags, going on private stuff through the son's computer, the daughter was so shocked that she literally passed out. small media tabloids in Israel wrote about it, and I have to say the comments were completely disgusting and racist till the extreme (aka cheering the airport's employee's, racist slurs), they just came to visit their families and left with a bad experience. that they will never forget. Yeah, I myself have seen some of those horrible situations in airports. I've seen it actually in NYC as well. In their airport, Arabs are checked much more harshly than any other people. I've also seen it in the Israeli airport. I think it is for security and not because of " you are not as equal as Jewish people" because most of the plane kidnap or anything was made by Muslim terrorists. But that is sort of a racism to say that all of the Arabs are terrorists and should be checked more than other people. So I don't justify that. If they refuse to treat patients because of their nationality, that's what makes it inhumane.
