lego 44,165
R.I.P. beautiful. Brainless barbarians. Ignoring the cause... so typical. I wish you had the guts to inform us about what led this unfortunate event to happen, when a group of Palestinians (adults & children) throwed a Molotov cocktail towards the soliders. However, the IDF annoucned the it will investigate the incident. Give me a call when Hamas will stop calling for mass-murder of Israelis. I wish you also informed us that the driver was in danger of lynch when the arab crowd gatherd around his car after the accident. That he was running for his life and stopped at the nearst Jewish settlement to inform the police. I guess it's just too much for you to see the full picture. :) Typical of you to show condolence only for an Israeli child but for Palestinian kids' death there is always some big EXCUSE FOR KILLING and it's always ''an accident''. I say, all children are equal, and RIP to all innocent kids no matter where they are from or what is their religion. I don't believe CHOSEN PEOPLE's lives are more worthy than any other. Israeli forces raided the West Bank village of Beit Laqiya on Thursday night and shot Bahaa Samir Badir, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy, 3 times in the chest. Badir died 2 hours later at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. Ma’an reports the boy was shot at “close range†and suffered from “severe bleedingâ€. Haaretz reported the unit’s commander “open fired†killing the boy. The Israeli military alleges one of their units entered Beit Laqiya “after stones were thrown in the area†according to Haaretz. Which begs the question, who were the targets of the stone throwing before the military unit raided the village? Who reported the alleged stone throwing? According to an Israeli military spokesperson Israeli forces “encountered an illegal riot in Beit Laqiya,†which implies there was a riot or a protest occurring in the village before Israeli military forces arrived. According to the Israeli army, a unit entered the village after stones were thrown in the area. As the unit left the village, soldiers stepped off their vehicle to repair an unspecified malfunction when Palestinians started hurling firebombs at them, from a distance of about 20 meters, the army said. The unit commander opened fire at the Palestinians, killing the teen. According to Ma’an “Clashes broke out in the village of Beit Laqiya after news of Badir’s death spread.†“while they were exiting the village, rioters hurled Molotov cocktails at the forces.†“They responded to the threat with live fire,†she said, adding: “Reports of a dead Palestinian are being reviewed. There will be military police investigation.†She added that the Molotov cocktails had posed a “direct threat†to the lives of the soldiers. The Israeli military police will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing of the boy by the Israeli military. These investigations almost never result in any disciplinary action– let alone criminal charges. The death of Bahaa brings the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank so far this year to 42, in addition to the nearly 2,200 Palestinians slain during Israel’s summer offensive across Gaza. More than 4,300 Palestinians have also been injured by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank since the beginning of 2014, as well as more than 11,000 during the nearly two-month assault on Gaza. The West Bank and the Gaza Strip have been under Israeli military occupation since 1967. Maybe the Israeli military should stop raiding Palestinian villages. This is what occupation looks like. In a civilised democratic country police or army doesn't shoot at demonstrators from close range 3 times to chest with LIVE ammunition. They usually have protective gear like this: They use tear gas or even rubber bullets, but never shoot to kill which was so obvious in this case. This is not a single incident, it happened too many times, ''there will be military police investigation'' is always later excuse but the killer almost always walks free. This wouldn't be case if the roles were reversed. ---- A young Palestinian girl who was struck by an Israeli settler vehicle earlier Sunday has succumbed to her wounds, medics told Ma'an news agency. Einas Khalil, 5, died after being hit by a car driven by an Israeli settler near the central West Bank town of Sinjil, medical sources at Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah said. Khalil and another young girl, Nilin Asfour, were walking on the main road near the village when they were hit, and were taken to the hospital in Ramallah where their wounds were described as serious. Einas passed away hours later. On September 29, an Israeli settler ran over and injured 6-year-old young Palestinian girl Islam Basim al-Amour in al-Dairat area south of Hebron. On August 7, an 8-year old Palestinian girl was also run over by Israeli settlers near Hebron and moderately injured. A week after that incident, on August 14, a 23-year-old Palestinian man was run over and killed by a settler car in the central West Bank. In all incidents, witnesses and residents said they believed Israeli settlers deliberately hit Palestinians. Back in 2013, an Israeli settler ran over a seven-year-old boy with his car as he walked to school in the West Bank town of Abu Dis. Hate crimes by Israelis against Palestinians, referred to as “price tag†attacks, are common in the West Bank, and are rarely investigated or prosecuted by Israel. About 550,000 Zionist settlers live in settlements across the West Bank and East Jerusalem on lands largely confiscated from local Palestinian communities. All settlements in occupied territory are deemed illegal under international law. (Ma'an, Al-Akhbar) ---- J’lem settlers amok: 10-year-old Palestinian is run over, 11-year-old is nearly abducted - http://mondoweiss.net/2014/09/settlers-palestinian-abducted#sthash.KJG7Ym6p.dpuf ----- Did you count how many hit & run ''accidents'' by settlers happened in this year alone? Of course he'll say he was afraid. That's what they all say. You know, if it was really an accident and he came out of the car to help little girls I am sure no one would try to ''lynch him''. But the witnesses claim it was deliberate and he was speeding up. And I believe them more than him. Why? Because also this seems to happen too damn often in West Bank and the ones responsible are not properly punished. Unless the driver is Palestinian. And about ignoring the cause. The real cause is illegal occupation since 1967. That is the bigger picture. FreePalestine

Now answer, does the late Hanna-Zis was killed because she's a Jew or because she was next to a person who was so careless of her to throw a Molotov cocktail? No one is braging about anyone being "GODS CHOSEN". I don't believe in any god. Don't fool yourself to believe Israelis can be safe within Palestinian population. Please. Funny how you didn't answer to any of my questions and you expect me to answer to yours? LOL I don't know why she was killed, maybe because the one who did it was many times imprisoned and tortured in prison and he got nuts, he didn't target the baby he drove to people by the road; maybe it was revenge for two Palestinian kids killed last week, maybe he fell asleep and drove to people by accident? There are many possibilities. However, you only express here sadness when it's your own, while you should be sad if any kid dies. You are so quick to find justification, when Israelis kill it's unbelievable. You really think you're superior to Palestinians? Israeli state is promoted as democratic country, but tell me where in the West people get shot 3 times to chest in close range by live ammuntion in demonstrations? They throw molotov cocktails too. Police has protective gear, tear gas and rubber bullets. And your army, more than once, just kills a teenager and "will investigate" later. And you didn't comment on numerous hit & run cases this year and last year when victims are mostly children. It's always an accident right? Yeah I thought so. And if you can't read my comments, don't bother with quoting and replying. FreePalestine

lego 44,165
Israelis mark 19 years since Yitzhak Rabin's assassination Speaking at a memorial rally at Tel Aviv's Rabin Square, former Israeli President Shimon Peres says: without peace, Israel's future is bleak. At the memorial, former Israeli president and foreign minister Shimon Peres said: “We’ve come to honor the memory of the greatest warrior for peace. We’ve come to say that his pursuit (of peace) lives on and will ultimately win." Peres, who won the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize together with Rabin and Yasser Arafat, stressed that only peace with the Palestinians will secure the country’s future: “Israel will not have lasting security without peace. Israel will not have a stable economy without peace. Israel will not have a healthy society without peace. Israel will not preserve her Jewish and democratic character without peace.†“As long as there is no horizon for a diplomatic solution, we will continue to live from war to war," Peres said. "Ruling over another people is against our values as Jews. To pursue peace is a mitzvah. It’s also very practical - very Jewish." "To my regret, there's only an Arab Peace Initiative on the table. Where's the Israeli Peace Initiative?" http://www.haaretz.com/news/national/1.623941 Peres slams Israelis who fail to embrace peace "Those who have renounced making peace are... not patriots," Peres said at a ceremony in Tel Aviv marking the 19th anniversary of the assassination of premier Yitzhak Rabin, who had signed peace agreements with the Palestinians. "It's a shame that the only peace initiative was an Arab initiative. Where is the Israeli peace initiative?" Peres asked, warning that "time is against us". He was referring to the Arab Peace Initiative made in 2002 by oil kingpin Saudi Arabia, calling on Israel to withdraw from occupied Palestinian territory, including east Jerusalem, in exchange for a normalisation of ties with Arab countries. Rabin was gunned down at a peace rally in Israel's commercial capital on November 4, 1995, by a rightwing Jewish extremist opposed to Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. His murder came just two years after the signing of the Oslo Accords and Rabin's historic handshake with the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat on the White House lawn. http://news.yahoo.com/peres-slams-israelis-fail-embrace-peace-211618288.html Netanyahu responds to U.S.: I am under attack for defending Israel Hours after U.S. official quoted calling Netanyahu 'chickensh*t', PM says alliance between Israel and U.S. is still strong despite arguments. http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/1.623356 FreePalestine
