Israel - Palestine Conflict Discussion Thread

then WHAT IS YOUR SOLUTION? KILLING CHILDREN IS NOT THE SOLUTION PERIOD. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE SO I DON'T GET MAD BY YOUR IGNORANCE. my solution is to end the attack from both sides, mainly Israel. and giving Palestine proper area to live, and making an agreement of the area divide rightfully.

Israel will take any measures to target any threat to its security. Any building that is used as a weapon storage will be destroyed. Any tunnel that was built in order to move terrorist into Israel and kill citizens will be destroyed, no matter how close it is to private homes. Hamas is to blame for using its citizens, those who elected him, as human shields. Hamas is to blame for turning civilian areas into combat zones. Israel has the right to defend itself, "horrid" as it might sound.

This is for anyone who still believes Israel kills innocents by "mistake":

UNRWA Commissioner General Pierre Krahenbuhl denounces Israel for strike on Gaza school

"I condemn in the strongest possible terms this serious violation of international law by Israeli forces," said UNRWA Commissioner General Pierre Krahenbuhl, saying the school's location had been communicated to the Israeli army 17 times.

"This is the sixth time one of our UNRWA schools has been struck. Our staff leading the international response are being killed," he wrote, indicating some 3,300 people had been sheltering in the school in Jabaliya refugee camp at the moment it was struck.

:toofunny:

Hamas was elected by the injured and dead kids in the photos you quoted?

And so what if they said that? They have the right to defend themselves from IDF terrorists. You see what I did there.

No. But their parents did. And they should not blame Israel for letting such cowards take control over them.  :)

*Nothing justifies the death of these children, and just for the record, you can't specifically know if their parents elected Hamas, you know.

Better idea - have the Palestinians swap with all the Christians and Jews that have been driven out of various Islamic countries by extremists. http://blog.acton.org/archives/69949-iraq-christians-submit-face-sword.html

Why? Just because they share religion? Collective punishment? How about European, Canadian and American Christians give pieces of their land to Israelis? After all, they share religion with Nazis and Hitler, they owe them.

And I really dislike Iran, for example, but they are mostly barking not biting, Iranian Jews have more rights there than some other Muslims, how they are driven out?

Iran's Jewish community is officially recognized as a religious minority group by the government, and, like the Zoroastrians, they are allocated one seat in the Iranian Parliament. Siamak Moreh Sedgh is the current Jewish member of the parliament, replacing Maurice Motamed in the 2008 election. In 2000, former Jewish MP Manuchehr Eliasi estimated that at that time there were still 60,000–85,000 Jews in Iran; most other sources put the figure at 25,000.[48] The United States State Department estimated the number of Jews in Iran at 20,000–25,000 as of 2009.[49]

Today Tehran has 11 functioning synagogues, many of them with Hebrew schools. It has two kosher restaurants, an old-age home and a cemetery. There is a Jewish library with 20,000 titles.[45] Iranian Jews have their own newspaper (called "Ofogh-e-Bina") with Jewish scholars performing Judaic research at Tehran's "Central Library of Jewish Association".[50] The "Dr. Sapir Jewish Hospital" is Iran's largest charity hospital of any religious minority community in the country;[50] however, most of its patients and staff are Muslim.[51]

Chief Rabbi Yousef Hamadani Cohen is the present spiritual leader for the Jewish community of Iran.[52] In August 2000, Chief Rabbi Cohen met with Iranian President Mohammad Khatami for the first time.[53] In 2003, Chief Rabbi Cohen and Maurice Motamed met with President Khatami at Yusef Abad Synagogue which was the first time a President of Iran had visited a synagogue since the Islamic Revolution.[54] Haroun Yashayaei is the chairman of the Jewish Committee of Tehran and leader of Iran's Jewish Community.[54][55] On January 26, 2007, Yashayaei's letter to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad concerning his Holocaust denial comments brought about worldwide media attention.[56][57][58]

The Jews of Iran have been best known for certain occupations like making gold jewelry and antique dealing, textiles and carpets.

Conditions[edit]

Jews are conscripted into the Iranian army like all Iranian citizens. Many Iranian Jews fought during the Iran-Iraq war (1980–1988) as drafted soldiers, and about 150 were killed.[59]

Most Iranian Jews say that they view Iran as their home and are allowed to practice Judaism freely.[60]

What about Aboriginal people of Canada? They've been there before you, give them back their land, let them make a proper state and spread. Why not?

You cannot know which parent voted for who and that still doesn't justify killing civilians and their children, what kind of twisted mind you have?

Should we say then that Hamas has the right to defend itself and Palestinian people from Israeli terrorist army and every Israeli citizen is a LEGAL TARGET since they voted for that government and even now majority support the attacks? It works both ways.

How come Egypt was able to close the tunnels without bombing Palestine? Very weak excuses you have.

In the political world, A government represents its residents and they will be the first to suffer its actions results. Especially one that was democratically elected.  :)

It doesn't work both ways as Israel is not storing IDF weapons in its citizens private homes, it It doesn't work ways as Israel is not firing rockets from neighborhoods towards other neighborhoods and it It doesn't work both ways as Israel is actually defend its citizens unlike Hamas which put its money on weapons and its leaders rather than helping Gazans.

Destroying Egypt is not one of Hamas' goals. Tunnels to Israel are booby-trapped with explosives and cannot be destroyed with the Egyptian method. Israel asks near civilians to get away before tunnels are getting bombed even tho those are offering a shelter to terrorists by agreeing to place a tunnel entrance in their backyard.

Well then I guess Israeli citizens should also suffer for electing their bloodthirsty government. How can I blame Hamas for firing rockets? It works both ways. You are not the most special people on earth and Palestinians are not subhumans.

And tell us what weapons you found in UN school today and a market full of people when you announced ceasefire?

It doesn't work both ways and the fact that you choose to delete part of my comment in your quotation says it all. Israels moto is not "We love death as much as the Palestinians love life". Its the Hamas whos openly talking about its intention to destroy Israel. We have every right to defend ourselves.

A refugee camp?

Israel has the right to defend itself from refugees. Israeli has the right to defend itself from babies. Israel has the right to defend itself from disabled people.

that's so sad....but from the news recently it was shown that the attack was so brutal! 1000 people oh my god! most of them women and children. I mean..just because Hamas used them as human shield but in any how I would not justify the killing of a thousand of it, that's not a heartfelt thought! to me it feels like you Israeli just watch non-Israeli as just "numbers". Sick!

to sound not anti-semitic, I heard rumor that Israeli had a mindset that they treat themselves as the most supreme race and treat other race as insects, I know this is a crazy rumor, but to see the fact like this it is not so far-fetched..... sorry for the harshness.

LIES again

UNRWA denied there were any rockets in the school, and they have warned Israel that there were civilians there SEVERAL times, so even if there were rockets, that cannot be justified. On another note, claims that there are rockets in scholls mainly come from ISrael, the only case rockets were found in UN school, it was a vacant school, and UNRWA said they check and inspect the school periodically, just to revent something like that.

How are you gonna justify this, UNRWA report:

- Nothing and nobody is safe in Gaza. To date, seven UNRWA staff members were killed. This morning, for at least the sixth time, one of UNRWA’s emergency shelters has been struck.

-Gaza’s sole power plant shut down after being hit and damaged. The repair is going to take up to a year

I hope all of those in this thread that are trying to make a point on GagaDaily, a site dedicated to Lady Gaga, a pop star, keep on trying to prove a point, it's not going to solve anything. Keep on being aggressive over the internet, it's not going to solve anything. You can quote me back and slap an essay reply with pictures, articles, but still, it's not going to solve anything.

Part of your comment was irrelevant. You are the intruders, you are killing their people, you stole their property, so they fight back. You want to destroy Palestine and you are showing it with your actions. It does work both ways.

You were killing Palestinians even before Hamas existed. What was the excuse then?

And about that moto, well..
