The call by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was his latest such message during the ongoing war between Gaza's Hamas rulers and Israel. Khamenei claims that while Israel and America seek to disarm Hamas, Iran says "the opposite ... the Muslim World has a duty to arm the Palestinian nation by all means." Iran, a staunch Hamas ally, does not recognize Israel and supports militant anti-Israeli groups such as the Palestinian Hamas and Lebanon's Shiite Hezbollah group. Iran does not recognize Israel and has considered the Jewish state its archenemy since the 1979 Islamic Revolution that toppled the Western-backed monarchy and brought clerics to power Khamenei spoke at a prayer ceremony in Tehran as Shiite Iranians marked the beginning of Eid al-Fitr holiday that follows the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. craig 680 Posted July 29, 2014 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Americans don't care because they blindly believe their own media's propaganda and if it's happening somewhere far away from them, it's ok since it's not on their own ground. Also few hundred people do not represent whole nation or all members of religious group. They are just lazy to check out the facts. But even THAT is changing. Americans just feel they have no decent allies or partners on the Arab side - just various dictators and extremists, and if they try to help people being oppressed they'll only create a bigger sh*tstorm and something even worse will take power. That's why the public wants to stay out of Syria and wishes they'd stayed out of Iraq.. For example during the war in Bosnia in '90s Serbian people were just watching news and videos from Milosevic's own channel, they were fed with lies and believed they're doing the right thing even when THEY were the aggressors and their own people were committing war crimes. A case where America and NATO supported Moslems in Europe against fellow Christians. It pissed off the Russians (Putin still resents it), but does US get a bit of gratitude from the Islamic world? Guess what, Serb nationalists saw the Bosnian Moslems the SAME way Arab extremist see Israelis - as people who historically invaded their land. (Turkish imperialist conquerors). The Palestinian media report confirms a WND exclusive report last Thursday that Hamas killed at least 25 Palestinian civilians in Shujaiyeh it suspected of collaborating with Israel. The WND article quoted sources close to both Hamas and the Islamic Jihad groups as saying most of the extra-judicial killings of suspected collaborators took place during a brief “humanitarian†cease-fire four days earlier. The so-called collaborators were accused of leading Israeli troops to smuggling tunnels and providing intelligence on Hamas’ infrastructure inside Gazan cities. The stirring documentary “Israel Indivisible: The Case For The Ancient Homeland†presents a compelling and comprehensive case for Israel’s right to the land. The sources told WND that Hamas publicly blamed the killings of the Palestinian suspects on Israel, claiming the civilians were murdered Sunday during an Israel Defense Forces “massacre†in the Shujaiyeh neighborhood of the Gaza Strip. The sources further said the civilian suspects murdered by Hamas were publicly celebrated by Hamas as martyrs killed by the Jewish state. After the IDF’s operation in Shujaiyeh nine days ago, in which the IDF says it targeted Hamas’s terrorist infrastructure, Israel agreed to a two-hour humanitarian cease-fire facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross. The stated purposed of the lull in fighting was to evacuate Palestinian casualties. During the cease-fire, the IDF said Hamas violated the agreement by shooting at IDF soldiers. Nonetheless, Israel extended the cease-fire another hour. Israel lost 13 soldiers during the Shujaiyeh operation. Hamas claimed Israel killed at least 66 Palestinians, mostly civilians, in that operation. Civilians are still not allowed to return to evacuated areas. Just today 60 more Palestinians lose their life. Another UN school, which served as a refugee camp, was attacked, resulting in 16 deaths.
