bionic 50,111 Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Yes and hamas is a primitive, backwards "terrorist" resistance movement, but israel is a terrorist state that is capable of inflicting pain and genocide on a much much larger scale. the only reason hamas are in power is because the palestinian people do not have the means to form their own sovereign independent forms of self-governance when they are being sieged, displaced and pushed in the most densely populated region in the earth (with airstrikes and chemical weapons falling on it constantly) with barely any food or clean water. Jews accepted the plan and literally went out dancing on the streets of Tel Aviv, the Arabs leaders refused and launched an attack on the new state. Both sides did ugly things, one of them ended winning against all chances. The rest is history. Honestly, is Palestine really a state - de facto? It has no independence. No control.
