You support democracy and open mind yet when i told you about the protest that i attendend that was heavily attacked you insisted that it was a hateful protest, basically implying that all Arabs / pro-Palestine protests are hateful. How open minded of you!

You said something like "oh so youre telling me there was no Qasam ya habib, attack Tel Aviv", As if id attend these kind of protests from the first place or placing your words as if this statement is expected just because the protest was held by Arabs, Christians AND Muslims.

Are you still denying it?... at least have some guts to admit theres ugly hate in both sides. It was reported by biggest news sites in Israel those ugly calls for the destruction of Tel Aviv were heard at your "peaceful" demonstration. (inb4 "noooo how can you believe the israeli propaganda!! your government lies they want you to hate arabs!!"). In addition, the organizers had no police clearance to show a demonstration and that's why the police was there. Simple as that. The police was there to disperse you and to prevent disturbances. Not because beating people is fun... By the way, you know there many Arab cops right?

You could also see anti-war demonstrations in Tel Aviv. Why those were not dispersed? ask yourself.

and here we are again with those "authentic" videos where a poor man is suddenly shot, out of the blue, with no proof it is real or the IDF was even around. Reminds of Muhammad al-Durrah.  :fail:

Except im not denying theres hate from both sides?! Im talking about that specific protest from a personal experience, the theme was "stop the killing" and not "attack the jews" and i saw how unfairly abusive the police were, pulling women by their hair, arresting one guy i know IN FRONT OF ME while he was totally innocnet, YET you still insist im lying.

And Jews were with us, for the record! "Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies" but i bet you you didn't hear about that one!, but sadly, 6.000 protestors of the extreme right aka "death to Arabs" attacked both jews and Arabs who were peotesting, i feared for my life and basically bailed out, but of course youre going to stand with them anyways.

In many ways, the story of this month's eruption of violence in Israel and Palestine has been depressingly familiar. But in one interesting way it has been a little bit different from the beginning: American audiences are seeing the story of the conflict, perhaps more than ever before, through Palestinian eyes.

...

" On social media, images circulated: the dead body of a reporter, the large-print word PRESS on his chest covered with bloodstains, a father carrying his dead daughter's body, a guided missile slamming into a residential area. "I've seen some truly shocking scenes this morning," tweeted the Guardian's man in Gaza, Peter Beaumont, on Saturday. "A man putting the remains of his two year old son into a garbage bag." 3,000 people retweeted that.

Earlier this month, the IDF's Twitter feed had been full of images of besieged Israelis. But by this weekend Israel was so clearly losing the public-relations war that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu complained to reporters, tersely, that Hamas uses "telegenically dead Palestinians for their cause."

If Netanyahu is so bothered by how dead Palestinians look on television then he should stop killing so many of them. But his complaint is in itself a concession. The story of the conflict between Israel and Palestine looks a little bit different this time around. Social media have helped allow us to see more deeply inside war zones  in this case, inside Gaza  and allowed viewers much fuller access to the terror that grips a population under military attack.
America's changing demographics (the country's Muslim population has skyrocketed in the past decade and is now as much as half the size of the U.S. Jewish population*) have meant both a more receptive audience for sympathetic stories about Palestinians and more Americans like Abu Khdeir, with connections back to Palestine. The sheer imbalance in the human toll, in the numbers of dead, has been impossible to elide or ignore.

#Israeli army fires warning shots on Al Jazeera bureau in #Gaza reports Al Jazeera

Al Jazeera's Stephanie Dekker reports on the warning shots that Israel army fired on Al Jazeera's bureau in Gaza.

"Two very precise shots were fired straight into our building.

The Israeli army has confirmed it hit two warning shots into our office I am not sure what the reason would be.

It caused a lot of panic, especially among the civilians working in the building.

We are high so we have a very strong vantage point over the area and perhaps they wanted us to move out."

Al-Jazeera Gaza offices evacuated after direct hit by Israeli fire

A spokesman for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said no warning shots had been fired but could not confirm or deny whether there had been indirect damage to the building from firing at nearby military targets, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The incident came a day after Israel's foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, called for al-Jazeera to be banned.

"Israeli" (Floridian) ambassador says "IDF" deserves Nobel Peace Prize for only slaughtering hundreds of civilians http://www.timesofisrael.com/dermer-idf-deserves-nobel-peace-prize-for-unimaginable-restraint/#ixzz38CibIllv

“Some are shamelessly accusing Israel of genocide and would put us in the dock for war crimes,†Dermer said. “But the truth is that the Israeli Defense Forces should be given the Nobel Peace Prize… a Nobel Peace Prize for fighting with unimaginable restraint.â€

Dermer’s comments followed a statement issued by Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, who on Sunday said that the IDF is the “most humane and bravest army in the world.â€

During World War II, the British army responded to German attacks with the “carpet bombing of German cities,†Dermer said. While he was unwilling to criticize the United Kingdom for doing so, he continued, “at the same time, I will not accept, and no one should accept, criticism of Israel for acting with restraint that has not been shown and would not be shown by any nation on earth. I especially will not tolerate criticism of my country at a time when Israeli soldiers are dying so that innocent Palestinians can live.â€

One of the reasons Israel is so successful is that while the Arabs are busy blaming the world for their problems, Israel is busy soleving its own. Have a good day.  :omfgaga:

You're not denying yet you insisted that this demonstration was so peaceful compared with the "Death to Arabs" demonstration. Neither of us is naive, theres a reason the police was there and it is not because they had nothing better to do.
