there is no denying there are way less toxins and crap in a vapour than a ciggie. They aren't good for you in any way but it is better than smoking a cig.

They look far from cool, im mortified with mine. But I've saved money, got off the cigs after 10 years on/off and i'll be weaning off the strength of tobacco til i'm done. 

 

The end of tobacco is near, so im all for it.

Part of the reason Smoking a cigarette is so bad is because the reaction causes the creation of dangerous toxins, its not like they are all cut into little pieces and put in there and thats all thats in the cigarette. They make new toxins.

 

Some e-cigarettes heat up enough to create a lot of the same toxins. The point im making is that as studies come out (which im perched for ) its starting to show that they might be JUST as bad as cigarettes for you. Also, good for you girl

ewww. To each his own I guess. I'm not even against smoking, I just don't care for the e-cig fad that make everyone think its okay to just be sucking down on those where ever. My coworkers use them in the break room and on the sales floor, by hiding them in their pockets. Or my peers will be sucking on them in the classroom. And I'm not even complaining about the second hand smoke. I just think its an ugly habit that enables people to get their nicotine fix at a much more liberal rate, which can't be good. Compared to people who have to go outside and wait for breaks to smoke.

 

And it is way less cool looking than smoking a cig tbh.

Arguable, Certain studies show that the vapor of second-hand vaping has been known to contaminate the air quality of closed spaces in the same way that tobacco smoke does - increasing the concentration of dangerous chemicals etc etc. Though which does it worse and which is more noticable is... again arguable as of now.

 

So, to sum it all up, any type of cigarettes needs to go.

trying to endorse a change, give me a break. she smokes cigarettes publicly and marijuana. you endorse change by not doing the awful thing, not accepting no doubt a tonne of money for a supposed healthier alternative for which no context for any notion that it is supposed to endorse a healthier option has been provided. she is actually promoting the substance to non-smokers who might want to get into the habit simply because gaga did it and the thing looks cool, those who never would've picked up tobacco! so it's all still gross and dangerous territory.
