Why Is It Hard For Some To Understand and Admit The Decline of Gaga?

I see the decline, and I've always admitted that.

Probably some people don't want to see it

What? Looks like you've been a member here longer than me, have you not seen everyone constantly talking and complaining about this? :smh:

I don't know, people just need to see it as it is. People expect godly thing from Gaga, and ARTPOP didn't reach anyone's expectations for Gaga. There is so much emphasis on her decline because we all know she has the talent to be doing better than most other pop artists and she just isn't. But I think the critics have said all the negative things they can say. They are running out of things to criticize her on and I hopefully DWUW was its' peak.

She's making music that I like much better than other pop stars. So as far as I'm concerned she is doing much better than others. Nothing else matters to me.

Why would someone care or talk about how someone else's interest in her dropped? I'm too bust being interested in her myself to give a sh*t about that.

Feel free to dwell on others not liking her, I'm going to sit here and keep enjoying the ride.

Because some people just don't give a ****, like me. It's a little sad that she's not as successful as she was 3 years ago, but it doesn't affect me at all. She made an album that I love, ARTPOP, and she toured in my state, Minnesota, which I loved and saw. What more can she do? Do I have to demand she's successful to keep my love for her alive? That wouldn't make sense. I'm happy that she makes me music and comes to see me in my state to play the music for me.

What are you talking about? Do you not log onto GGD that often or something?

It has been very clear to me for the past 8 months that this fan base very much realizes that Gaga has been in decline since Judas. Why else do you think we have a "what does Gaga need to do to win back the GP" thread every week? Your point genuinely makes no sense to me as someone who frequents this website. This fan base has been in turmoil since Applause first hit iTunes. I'd say ever since MTN flopped.

And what this thread truly appears to me is a deliberate attempt to bring this old ass subject to the fore front as if we're supposed to only focus on the fact that Gaga has declined.

And if you're referring to the thread where everyone responded to the OP with "she was never gone," TECHNICALLY Gaga is still in the music scene. She released an album not even a year ago. It was not in response to her decline, it's a response to the sentiment amongst the GP and even most of her fans that Gaga isn't doing anything. That she's lazy and doesn't promote. She IS here. She IS making music and she will continue to do so regardless of commercial success.

It's sad to me that you're trying to drag back this negativity and essentially forcing us to zoom in on Gaga's current inferiority like it's the most important thing about this fandom. We've been discussing this since 2011. This subject is done. Nobody here thinks Gaga is the future queen of pop anymore. Many even question her credibility and decision making on a regular basis.

Give it a rest and let fans think what they want.

I should be more clear. I love ARTPOP as an album. ARTPOP didn't meet expectations because people expected amazing sales since she hadn't released music in over two years, and a revolutionary app, both of which we didn't get.

There is a decline, of course, but it's not such a big one. I mean, she's still one of the top names in the industry. However she'll have to do it better next times...

Sadly the decline in quality is far bigger than the decline in success

I hope that was sarcasm. lol.
