Maybe it's the acapella from promo single Hair. I know there were some differences in the vocal mixing between promo Hair and album Hair.

The leaked acapella actually is from the single/promo/whatever version indeed.

Do you guys know if the one file acapella (lead+backing) that leaked before the separate stems is different?

Mr Ricky

Acapella never leaked, and besides that, we never can guess if it is from the album version tho. Because the backing vocals we have are like +30423934 decibel , and the lead vocals are like -230913943 decibel.. + The created acapella we got, doesnt even sound good enough to be the acapella, sinds its too low in volume as in difference between the lead and backing vocals volume.

Thats just the stems mixed, and volume settled up hunny. I inverted both stems on it, and both stems vanishes to silence mode. We can never guess the real volume what is used in the album version tho. Since the stems and the album version not sync in a precise way. :(

Oh you mean that, well ofcourse the stem made version acapella leaked, but never did the original acapella.

Its like uhm,, Born This Way Acapella ( made with stems ) from Rockband ( you can easily filter out backing vocals ) , and then you have the official acapella ( harder to filter out the backing vocals ) For example, the whispers.

most acapellas are not final versions (some of them missing some vocal elements as marry the night missing some vocal elements, but some acapellas the same as in studio mix but just unmastered! i noticed it as soon as i downloaded them and yes someone changed the speed, someone, NOT producers, or gaga!

agreed with you but...... as for filtering back vocals: sometimes it's hard to filter backs, sometimes easy, but that's just bc of mixing techniques! not because of rockband or something else....panning that's the matter! if vocals are panned it is easy to filter vocals, but if all vocals are panned in the center that's *hit

The ones we have are from the Single version of Hair, I noticed this a few days after the leaks as at the end theirs extra backing vocals of the single version where there isn't in the album version, and this acapella had the extra backing vocals at the end in it. You can also try and invert the acapella with the single version and you'll get a pretty good filtered instrumental without having to rarely speed up or speed down things
