Video fallen angel scene because it's very sad, dark (conceptually), dramatic, climatic and very symbolic. And having ARTPOP playing as it happened just made hy heart stop tbh. Edit: The Marry The Night explosions is A M A Z I N G too. One of my favorite scenes from my favorite video. And Judas cultural baptism is also one of my faves, very symbolic and I like the metaphor in the video. The most iconic is probably the Paparazzi "I just killed my boyrfriend" scene. Tropico 4,145 Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 "Best" and "most iconic" are not necessarily the same thing. But I'm inclined to choose Fallen Angel. She didn't rely on her usual tics. There was nothing flashy or explosive or ironic about the imagery, although I love that too. It was just very strong and evocative, and somehow avoided looking completely laughable. Given the the current evidence (and including "Judas" as well), I think her instinct as a video director are very underrated, especially by some fans. Her cinematic voice is so fresh, off-kilter and (yes) original. Omg we think so much alike! I agree her directing skills are unerrated. And I also agree with your ARTPOP concept theory!
