What I realized after watching the DWUW snippet mess...

I'm not sure if anyone noticed but during the snippet of the video where R. Kelly was dancing with the s-xy nurses in the background, you can see the examining table that Gaga is laying on breaking down and she and one of her dancers falling off in the shot.

Like...that shot actually made it to the final cut. An amateur mistake actually made it pass professionals into the final cut and Gaga approved of it....

It just made me realize how much Gaga intentionally surround herself with a bunch of "YES MEN": people who will say yes to her regardless of how ridiculous her ideas or opinion are. Like does no one on her team filter her ideas out for her. Does no one say "no" to some of the stuff that she inherently approves of. This kind of flub would have not even pass the radar if the original members of her HAUS were involved.

Part of the reason why TFM era (as overrated as it is) was successful was because she and her team collaborated so harmoniously together (everyone from her stylist to creative director etc.) She focused mainly on the writing and her music and any of her ideas or visions that she had would be filtered through her team and was made possible by people who knew what they were doing.

Now she kinda just wants to do it all by herself and do it with people that will approve of her every choice and decision. And it's obvious that people who disagreed with her left and let's be real, some aspect of her art has suffered because of it.

As a creative person, you are supposed to constantly get feedback and constructive criticisms from creative people around you or else you are going to inevitably get confine in this terrible ego that tells you that your sh*t is THE sh*t when it's actually just sh*t (like the whole concept of the DWUW video).

Basically if Gaga wants to at least recover artistically (I could care less about the commerciality of her career as I was always here for her creative visions and ideas) she needs to understand that total creative control does not equate to DOING, RUNNING, AND APPROVING EVERYTHING BY YOURSELF. She needs to form solid collaboration and mutual trust with a strong cohesive team so that way everything and everyone will be on the same page.

She recently join with Live Nation's management team so hopefully this will signal in the change in how she approaches things artistically.

Did it occur to you that the shot was on purpose, and meant for a comedic effect?

The table IS supposed to fall, the only thing unprofessional about that shot is that she's supposed to be unconscious and yet grabs the nurse's arm.

What if it was made on purpose? I find it difficult to believe that it was just an accident.
