To me she just doesn't walk the walk anymore and does too much talking and promises she doesn't end up fulfilling. The video should have been released back in December. This is one of the many things that have me wanting to turn in my fan card I just don't get her anymore. Madonna wouldn't have flaked out she would have thrived on the controversy. GaGa gets too scared of what people think. I mean if she shot it and it was so racy why even shoot such a video to begin with? She knew the repercussions so own it! This so much. I feel like someone chopped her balls off or something. She isn't the same as she was at the beginning of the BTW era. Her interview @ google compared to now makes me sad. THANK YOU.UPDATE: After watching TMZ, I have to say I'm quite upset, not because they did not show the whole video, but because of the slanderous and potentially hurtful things they said about Gaga. It is quite clear after seeing the clip that they did not do any research or inquiry on the context of the video or the true message of the song, and for that they should be truly ashamed of themselves. Airing a video that was supposed to be private and then criticizing it and spinning its message untruthfully is not journalism, its not reporting, its bullying. Thankfully, you know and I know that Gaga is smart enough to navigate any criticism from the release of this video and rise above it. Help her by respectively spreading the right message on social media, and clarifying and correcting any false information someone may be spreading, This too shall pass, and things will continue as normal. When Cheek to Cheek comes out, no one will even remember what has happened today. They will be too stunned by its beauty to even care. They do a project together "Do what you want (with my body)" where she is literally singing about giving consent and also criticising the media. The media then leak the video (reportedly WITHOUT her consent) and criticize her for filming it/releasing it and for sending such a horrible message in the video they leaked and promoted. But the ARTPOP era has just been letdown after letdown... I'm not one of those people who cling onto past eras, but this entire era I've felt like she hasn't given a ****. She doesn't seem as motivated and goal driven as she used to be. I love the album, but everything outside of the music has been a mess. She doesn't seem to care anymore. Exactly, and this wouldn't be about promoting the song, but herself, and her way of expressing herself. But I don't think she's behind the leak, wish she was though, because as some others have said, Gaga's been playing it safe this era apart from a couple of moments, like the SXSW festival.
