Bt1 5,213
Music not the bling is a nonsense in pop music.
Mills 446
I don't know if it applies to all, but to me, one will always have to love the music first before one would be able to love the "bling". Chart success is driven by consumer interest and support, which means what causes a chart success (or the "bling") is most probably the love by the consumer for the music first, isn't it? One cannot absolutely love one's "bling" without loving the music first because at the end of the day, it's the music which keeps you listening to that artist. Paco 3,040
I love, love, love when Gaga gets no.1 records, but if I only wanted no.1 records then I'd stan for Katy Perry (simply meaning she is very successful, but her music isn't my favourite :) )
U-GO-BOY 1,608
your question is terrible but I love you anyway
Skylight 911
I think i would choose both, it makes me really happy when her songs are on the top of the charts, i always want her to be number 1 so people won't drag her, especially the KatyCats, it really saddens me knowing that Gaga work hard for all of her songs and people would call it a 'flop' or a 'trash' when it didn't do well on the charts. So i would choose both, i really love to hear her masterpiece and at the same time I wanted it to be praised by a lot of people.
LilVenusian 579
I could care less for her bling. Its not liking i'm getting a share or anything. As long as she keeps delivering them bops i'm good. She will obviously have less money for concerts/music videos but girl can serve even on a budget (see: The Fame Ball tour)
Robinladen 1,527
Music is more important, but with Gaga the bling is a part of her too imo. Her award show slayage was so special. All the awards, performances, speeches, ...

Bye 3,947
Music, though the bling is fun too but the music is a must while the bling is not.
VforVendetta 2,024
Of course. I do care for success obviously but it is not a priority.
HarryTheNight 35
Of course I love music more than bling but I makes me really happy when her songs are high on the charts etc. We've all seen how hard she works so she obviously deserves the bling. But ''music not the bling'' means that she isn't making the music because of money and fame, it doesn't mean that she doesn't care about money at all. Obviously she needs money to build her stage, buy more clothes to express herself and keep recording great albums! this

Microscope 710
I love both but I would rather music. And we all must remember that the 'bling' was how most of us discovered Gaga. Take my hand. Stay, Joanne.
NewYorkCity 10,536
of course... but, there are things that I also love that come with the bling... so the bling is great too.
