I think it's incredibly boring. I have watched it about 5 times since it came out. I tried to like it, but can't. I saw tons of comments saying it's boring as well. djBuffoon 12,115 Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 There are so many other reasons as to why GUY is not a hit, but yeah the dated sound is a reason I suppose It sounds more contemporary than something like "Neon Lights", which is getting a ton of airplay. I don't think the song itself a problem. Going back to the OP, I think it's clear that Gaga is still not finished with electronic pop. I'm here for her signature sound until she feels like she's run out of ideas. And on AP, love it or hate it, there are very, very few examples of her repeating herself, which is impressive to me. The video should have been released when the song was sent to the radio, not 3 weeks before Applause and DWUW were highly recieved by the GP This!
