Applause and DWUW were highly recieved by the GP THIS X100000. I mean listen to this: G.U.Y wasn't a big hit because NO one from the GP knows it. ( At least here in europe nobody has heard it because radios haven't played it so its normal no one has bought it.) I assure you that if people knew GUY it woudn't have "flopped". ( A ' Billboard dance songs' TOP5 hit tho so it isn't a flop...) So the problem is the lack of promotion, at least out of EUROPE. So, nobody has rejected gaga, DWUW and APPLAUSE are smash hits, and DWUW beat the record of the song with more #1 on iTunes...AND here in europe everybody knows them and sings them in the streets etc... I have to agree with Joey. G.U.Y. was never a good choice for a single and the video is probably her worst. Yes it's her most expensive but it's just not very good. But she's not the new thing anymore and her mystique has worn off unfortunately. So while she might not be doing as well as she once was, she's still doing very well for herself.
