Can Gaga afford another long break?

I think it'd be good for people to forgot about her, then when she comes back with an epic ass song people get slayed :legend:

They already forgot tbh, the only time she's been remotely visible to the GP these last two and a half years was Applause's impressive radio play.

People didn't forget about her nor will they. And I doubt she cares enough to not take a break because of that. If there's no ACT 2 expect another blackout after the tour, probably one that lasts longer than the first one.

If she comes back with a good song with good promotion and good everything else, then it will succeed. Like I don't understand where yall are coming from with this "make or break" stuff... What are you basing that off of?

Absolutely not, too much a break is not good. We've already had many big breaks during the ARTPOP era now we need more? Gaga should be working on promo and music. She has to stay in the public conscience. Katy doesn't take breaks. This is a make it or break it moment for Lady Gaga. While she will be ingrained in the public conscience regardless because of her prior success she should not take a break. Do we really want the lady gaga's greatest hits cd to only go up to Applause?

It does not matter how long she takes a break for, as long as the material is good when she comes back.

Yes thank you

No.... from now on it's up to HER tbh. She MUST realize how not having a video for a single and then flopping with the next has affected her.... she can't just ignore it. This is a critical moment in her career. It's make it or break it, and quite honestly, it's up to HER. No more dumb choices. No more delays. No more blackouts. GET YOUR **** TOGETHER.

This is how I honestly feel about Gaga right now. I don't care if I get dragged or whatever. I was lenient in 2013 because of her hip and management issues with ARTPOP.... but this has to stop and she needs to get back to work.

over-dramatic much?

The thing is that, for the GP, Gaga is not cool. And it will be very hard to make them like her again.

Not when her latest single with a high production video was the biggest flop of her career.

And that's relevant to the topic how...?

Yes she can. If she comes back with stounding music I don't see any problem.

But as a fan I'm not here for that.

No. The longer she waits, the harder it will be to mount the comeback, in my opinion. You could have the best song in the world, but when they don't care, they don't care.

She needs to strike while the iron is relatively hot with an album with lots of solid promo and a well thought out plan (something ARTPOP suffered from).

I think she had too much time with ARTPOP. I think if her work sits just sits on a hard drive somewhere, she goes back, adds stuff, change stuff, and just generally over-a--lyzes it.

People don't care anymore. And it has a lot to do with her team or whoever manages her career. G.U.Y. was a failure from all perspectives. The only good thing about it was that the video was amazing. Your image is in a dire state when people don't even know you have a single out and radio stations say your song "doesn't sound like a hit."
