grenziel 538
I want to let go of the past. I want to be hopeful for the future but I don't know if she can surpass Bad Romance. During that 2008-2010 period, everything seemed to be going right for not only her, but pop music in general. It was like the stars were aligned in the pop industry in that time. I believe she can create something iconic still but it won't be Bad Romance level. Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want be abused. Interludicrous 15
Bad Romance: making her career in 2009, biting her in the ass in 2014
Giorgiii 0
Well,im so hapy that you have got a lot of homage for Bar Romance but let's focus on present/fuure and erase all kind of stuff associated with her previous slayges, and btw why do you guys want she to put out another Bad Romance ? I support her for being different and original, she is one of the few artists who dont follow traditional, monotonous, drab and rife traditions of commercial industry,I am just waiting for another smash song, not for anything related to Bad Romace. Its also noteworhty that BR never went number one on BB hot 100,But it markerly refrected her career in positive way.

MonsterOfSpain 8,318
But Bad Romance is like her 10th best song... I'm sure she can do better if she wants, as she did with ARTPOP. And if you're talking about success and impact, I don't think she's ever going back to TFM-level slayage.
VforVendetta 2,024
It's like saying Gangnam Style is a masterpiece She has much better songs than Bad Romance I don't care what people say about her. She doesn't need to slay the charts, she slays me - us with her music every time You didn't just say that GS has anything to do with God Romance. :udidnt:
Dan the Gaga Stan 9
I'm one of Bad Romance's biggest fans, I loved that so much 2009/2010. I still love it but for me she has already surpassed BR many times since. What with Scheisse, Government Hooker and now Aura, G.U.Y, Sexxx Dreams, ARTPOP (especially live like Swinefest and artRave album launch) and Applause. OK, so chart wise and cultural impact wise she hasn't surpassed Bad Romance. Some of the GP still think of Bad Romance (or maybe Poker Face) when they think of Gaga but for me I am a fan of her for the music and not so much the chart. Of course I would love the GP to appreciate her as much as they did then, and for her not to be the media's enemy. But the GP are very fickle and in general the pop loving GP love something relatable, whilst Gaga was abit different 2008-2010 to other pop stars, it was new then so was fresh to have some crazy chick. Now people just jump on the "weirdo" bandwagon sadly. But all successful artists have peaks and troughs, even Madonna (sorry to use her as comparison!) MJ etc. Katy will soon I'm sure. I love the present Gaga, and despite it not having TFM success, I love ARTPOP and I have loved her fashion, her performances and most importantly the music! I can't wait for the tour, as hopefully I can go when she comes to the UK and I look forward to all the new stuff she comes out with!
Phlop 4,773
Because she didn't release a Venus or Scheisse as singles during their respective eras tbh. :tea: BYE
Tropico 4,145
Music Quality Wise: Pssh Gaga has passed Bad Romance multiple times. But obviously that wasn't what you were talking about Chart Wise: No... She probably won't pass that level. And we all know this is what you meant. But why does the charts matter this much? Music not the bling. Move on. Honestly the obsession with charts on this forum is crazy . ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
