Dr Rogoe 23
Bad Romance of the Haus Gaga, First of Its Name, King of the Charts and the First Single and Hit of the Diamond Chanteuse I just listened to Slaymance and I remembered those old times when everybody was humming this precious thing. I swear by the Old Gods and The New that I missed those days. Why stans no appreciate ARTPOP like BR
giskardsb 12,565
She already has a ton of songs that are way better than Bad Romance. and this and truthfully, GUY is the most traditionally "Gaga" song she's put out since BR. And it failed with the GP. RedOne would have made no difference with that song. The GP is fickle and their tastes change on whim.
LStephens11 15
I wonder if people would love Bad Romance even if it didn't catapult her into the global phenomenon she is or not.

LStephens11 15
Making smash hits like Bad Romance isn't a guaranteed thing. She can team up with RedOne again and all the other people whom she collaborated with during TFM, and still, there will be no 100% assurance that it'll have the same chart dominance like BR had. Judas, for instance, was seen as BR 2.0, musically. And yet, it became one of Gaga's worst singles, chart-wise. And besides, the belief that she can score a smash hit if only she "wants" to is nothing but a fallacy. It'll still all depend on the reception of the great majority, not on the perception of the artist on what can be a hit or not. It was a Top 10 hit in America
DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Gaga has a long career in front of her... She has plenty of time. No one can have a hit single year after year. Well... maybe a few, but it's hardly the norm.
Essence 232
Musically, I think she's topped it. Agreed.
Mills 446
It was a Top 10 hit in America And it fell like a rock after its debut week and never returned on the top 10 ever since. Chart peaks are oftentimes deceiving on a single's success. Dope was also a top 10 hit, but its sales are nowhere near to a typical top 10 hit. Mills 446
and this and truthfully, GUY is the most traditionally "Gaga" song she's put out since BR. And it failed with the GP. RedOne would have made no difference with that song. The GP is fickle and their tastes change on whim. Exactly. Not all RedOne produces became hits anyway, nor any "star" producer for that matter. Gaga is Life 101
I wonder if people would love Bad Romance even if it didn't catapult her into the global phenomenon she is or not. I think people would, at least I know I would. There are songs that a lot of fans like that haven't been a hit like Marry The Night and G.U.Y. Michael 533
Because artists can't keep reliving the same sound to achieve similar success. I could legit name 10 artist that do this and it works perfectly fine for them. No shade.
