The first video from the Stray Kat sessions was released by the band a few days ago!

This is a really nice stripped down version of Cary Nokey's new single, "Be Who You Are".

And, he also has uploaded his acoustic version of Paparazzi for us hardcores, but will release the password in the fall :) Smart fellow to tease us :teehee:

He really does have talent. Cheers to 8Bit and the band! Can't wait to see what other gems he records and uploads next!

Omg :rip: That was horrifying :awkney:

Please try to be respectful. This isn't a bad song, and the man is a good songwriter.

If it was "horrifying" to you, tell me why you think so?

I don't see that, but ok... I can see where this is your take on it!

I think he remixes very well!

nnnn this turned into a Carey Nokey/8 Bit/Rob Fusari/whatever appreciation thread :deadbanana:

I was updating the thread on a film from the 5-28-2014 show... and I've learned more about him in the time since I've written the thread.

Is there a reason why we shouldn't appreciate him for who he is and what he's done?

I bet some of you don't even know HALF of the musical work the man has done.

from RobFusari.com:

Rob Fusari is a Grammy award winning, multi-platinum music producer, songwriter and music executive.

Fusari has worked with countless legendary artists including Beyonce, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Jessica Simpson, Will Smith. He is best recognized for discovering pop icon Lady Gaga. His discography holds countless Billboard hits, including Destiny’s Child’s “No No No†and “Bootyliciousâ€, Whitney Houston’s “Love That Manâ€, Will Smith’s “Wild Wild West†and Lady Gaga’s “Paparazziâ€, which he also co-wrote, which subsequently lead to being honored with a Grammy and the Ascap POP award. He has recently been featured in Billboard magazine’s Top 10 Songwriters in the world.

Fusari's Artist Roster:

Adam Lambert

Back Street Boys

Beyonce

Britney Spears

Billy Crawford

Destiny's Child

Donna Summer

Eric Benet

Estelle

Gareth Gates

Gem

Greyson Chance

Jeffrey Gaines

Jessica Simpson

JLS

JoJo

Jonas Brothers

Kelly Rowland

Kimberly Locke

Lady Gaga

Little Boots

L.P.

Macy Gray

Melanie Fiona

Neon Hitch

Patty Smyth

Skye Ferreira

Tamyra Gray

Taylor Dayne

Whitney Houston

Will Smith

No Fusari -- no Paparazzi, no Beautiful, Dirty, Rich, no aspects of Gaga as we know her today.

Count your blessings, guys, and remember that in the BIG picture, we are all human and we all deserve a shot. This man is trying to do well on his own, drawing from the experiences he's had in over 20 years of being in the industry. He's trying something new, being in a band he created himself, and writing pop music for that band to sing.

What ever happened to something another artist once said.... Promote Online Kindness?

Ok, even drop the online part.

We all make mistakes. We all want to do well. We are all human.

Promote KINDNESS.

Be nice to Rob Fusari. He doesn't deserve all the hate, sure, he's made mistakes, big ones, but still, he's trying to do better and be himself. He has no hate at all towards Gaga. We shouldn't have hate towards him.

no, but I found funny that this was about Rob performing unreleased Gaga songs and now it's about Rob himself :emma: anyway I don't hate him or anything, just found that funny  sorry

Hahha you are actually right!

No need to apologize :)

This did kind of turn into a Rob Fusari discovery thread, didn't it? I am of course quite interested in hearing what those unreleased Gaga songs sound like, and  it looks like he's prolonging the suspense by waiting to release it !

Discovered a great article on 8Bit here:

"All of the new artists that I looked at after her seemed ordinary" :legend:

His answers kinda remind me of Gaga during The Fame era too. I didn't really knew much about him, but it looks like they do have a lot in common.

He and she really are similar as artists, it's fascinating to me as a person who enjoys her music as hardcore as I do, to compare and contrast and find similarities and refreshing differences as well when I listen to their tracks.

He was an already established producer, and she was a fresh new artist with a huge vision, and together they molded this incredible album --- "The Fame."

Just unreal how cool what they did together was!

And the demos, too ... remember Reel Cool? Remember those 30-34 unreleased tracks? heres to hoping someday they can be heard.

This thread should be closed, it has nothing to do with Gaga

This guy (who sued Gaga for millions) is still using her to get attention to his terrible music

He's a great producer and singer/songwriter, but i don't really understand many things that he does: teasing about unreleased material, a paparazzi acoustic version and those kind of things. I think he's taking advantage of Gaga's fame and i don't know if that's completely right.
