WWDC, the Worldwide Developer's Conference is a yearly event hosted by Apple to showcase its upcoming software innovations. It's taking place at Moscone Center, San Francisco, 2-6 of June. This year, Apple is expected to preview ios 8 and OS X 10.10, and rumors about new hardware have circulated too.

Hang out here to discuss any rumours, news and anything WWDC related

I'm going to be around san francisco during that time, is there any way I could get into one of the keynote presentations?

I'm pretty sure the tickets are exhausted. And I think you need to be a registered Apple developer to enter :emma:

Nope, you need to be a developer and have bought a ticket (sold out) - tickets are $1599 I think

I wonder if they'll call the next Mac OS something different, or go up to 11.X

Cause 10.10 just looks wrong to me :emma:

Are we sure about iOS 8, though?

pretty much. They've shown a new version of iOS at every WWDC for the last 3 years

I think they'll drop the version number and stick to OS X *insert version name*

Most likely, as Apple has moved its preview up from an April separate event to being included with WWDC.

It changed a few years ago when the iPhone 4S came out in October instead of June when the release timelines shifted (:

Oh yeah, I always confuse WWDC with the normal keynotes around September in which they introduce new hardware.
