Is it me or is gaga REALLY lazy on tour?

Imo, Gaga thrives off being around other intense creative types instead of buddy buddy type people, who just go with the motions and are not really inspiring her and pushing her to be better...

I guess I can see what you're saying, but to be honest, in my opinion, hanging around "intense creative types" such as Jeff Koons and Marina failed to inspire her in a way that would be beneficial to her, imo.

She's a great dancer, dude. Don't hate.

I'm not hating. She's not a natural dancer. She has said this herself so many times too.

On the flip side, Gaga has tried really hard to incorporate dancing into her performance because I think she truly believes in dance as an important component to music so I commend her for that.

It is hit or miss. Some times she looks fantastic, but other times she looks like she just prefers to let loose and geek out. TV performances are definitely times when she tries a more choreographed approach. Tours? Not so much. She just wants to have fun and that's totally ok.

I'm not hating. I'm just seeing it how it is.

horrendous. she doesnt even do the choreo. she waves her hands everywhere.

not valid. her VMA applause performance was flawless and so were other TV performance after her surgery. she's just not dancing on tour

One-off performances are one thing.   This is a long tour for a couple hours a night, with rehearsals, with traveling in between every show, not a TV appearance.  She had major surgery that entailed cancelling part of her tour.  You don't do that and aren't allowed to do that by the insurers unless it's bad.   She was in a wheelchair recuperating.  She is being smart.  She probably still has some pain at times.  In fact, I would imagine she does have bad days.  She's not complaining about it, but she's being smart.

She is far from a horrible dancer. Anyone who says that is completely overreacting. I agree that her dancing isn't as good as some other pop stars such as Beyonce, Britney and Madonna in their primes but Gaga definitely holds her own. Her dancing looks good on stage and looks great in music videos. Of course she has had some sloppy performances but that is understandable considering she is singing and is probably exhausted.  Some of you expect her to be perfect. I'm just happy that her voice and her songs are good. Dancing is just icing on the cake.

I was just thinking the same thing while watching the videos from Winnipeg... like, come on. Richy has got to go, I think. I hate his choreography except for G.U.Y. I'm not impressed with the tour performances, especially compared to other performances during this album cycle - she had more oomph in Austin and there was no choreography there.

She has to be careful not to hurt herself again. I don't really care how good she dances anyway, she has backup dancers and she's the singer. She should let them dance and focus on her vocals. I'm just really proud to see her back on stage after her injury.

Let's call a spade a spade. Dancing is not her strong suit, even laurie ann gibson has admitted that (before the falling out. lol) Gaga is a good singer and piano player but not a classically trained dancer but that's okay. she is normal and cannot be the best at everything. Why doesn't she let her dancers do the dancing and just walk around with a microphone? I think she would have more fun, it would be less pressure and she could interact with the audience more.

 she's not perfect.

Nobody said she is perfect.  She's a human being.  The problem is with the word "lazy" in the title.  You could have used wording like "Is Gaga dancing less strenuously now?" or "Is Gaga taking it more easy with her dancing on this tour?".  Her fans know that she is an extremely hard worker and if her dancing is less strenuous there's a good reason for it.  But "lazy" strikes at Gaga's character, and you will never get away with that here.

I live outside the space time continuum.

I think it's both a matter of her testing the limits of her physical capabilities, while also focusing on other things (like singing, I think).

3 points in and ready for more

Venus's choreography for the ArtRave is (Tragically) changed. Even watch the backup dancers.

The official choreography she did before the rave is kind of half kept half scrapped, which is a travesty, because it was my favorite choreo from this era no doubt.

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
