Lady Gaga Talks About Lip Synching in New Interview

I mean, obviously. But if the singer is intentionally singing under the song so they aren't heard, is there that much of a difference?

Sis :awkney:

If you're singing and dancing to songs back to back for over an hour you're gonna find ways to catch your breath. I just saw her live.. Yeah the backing track was loud compared to her at times but she was live the whole time and when she got on the piano to sing born this way.. I'll let you youtube it.

I don't get the ignorance with some of little monsters here. Backtracking is different from lip syncing. People here used to be smart and very critical about their opinions.

Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want be abused.

No, I know!

Trust me, I know what I'm saying. I was responding to the people who were saying that she "lip-synced" her choruses. I've seen her live, I know she sings everything live. During choruses though, her volume usually drops drastically and it can sometimes appear as though she is lipsyncing. In other words, there are times when she relies more on the backtrack than others. It depends on if people want to consider that lipsyncing or not is up to them. She's still singing, whether you can hear her or not is a different story.

Relying on the backtrack? Maybe to catch her breath... Going on a limb when I say that hopefully you worded that wrong :staymad:

I think alot of people do not realise a how much it takes out of your throat to be singing so much when on tour (therefore using backtracking to help), and b. how f'in hard it is to dance and sing at the same time and for it to sound decent, so they are now all complaining about the backtracking. :fail:

Well, considering the bulk of the choreo for her songs tends to be in the chorus part, it's no surprise she may be "softer" in voice then if she's trying to dance too I guess.

1. I think people complain because she used way less backtrack during TMB, so people know that she can do it.

2. I totally agree that that's probably why she gets quiter.

It's just hypocrisy coming out of her once again. What else is new? :awkney:

Relying as heavily on the backtrack as she does = lipsynching. Period.

you and your high standards. consider the possibility that perhaps you are just simply tonedeaf... :awkney:

focusing as heavily on the negative things as you do = breeding negativity. period.

TBH I don't really have a problem with the backtracking. I rather she relied on it a bit during the chorus and danced rather than trying to dance and sing all out and for it to sound sh*tty, but apparantly no one else feels that way. ;)

Her dance lately isnt so breathtaking or energetic to really be the excuse for the backtrack. And she can find other ways to rest, not just ignore all the choruses. :toofunny:
