So the guy came to seek refuge with Gaga and her pals. Probably a metaphor for the Haus and their opposition to peoples talents being exploited. Gaga was probably representing Venus, and when you start to add it up you realise why the video feels so random and fragmented. Guy is exploited and stumbles to the castle during ARTPOP, seeking refuge. He is taken inside and exposed to this weird world Gaga lives in, with the POVs of everyone and the Housewives just as a cameo worshipping Cohen (again, the meaning of the reality stars is also so much clearer in these storyboards). Then they get to Gaga, who is watching the whole thing from the balcony... Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is how it was supposed to go. Wonder why it didn't...
