When she had that short blond hair with the red lips like on that Larry King interview. Was that the Alejandro-era? I don't even know anymore. She was promoting her album yes, but in 2009/2010 she was everything to a lot more people. 2011 was the beginning of her "decline". Like the brown hair this era, it would've been cool if she had only used brown wig, such as the I&V brown wig (tech chair shot) and the seashell girl wig. In many ways, I think she fulfilled that role more smoothly and gracefully in such a short time period than those before her, that she made herself an instant icon along with them. However, a return to the look would appear forced to her creative process, though she has spawned wonderful incarnations of the look recently in various forms.
