LadyJamie 11
I had a lot of doubts before the show, slightly upset there wasn't a big opening, or a storyline etc, that's what I'm used to attending. However, after going last night I can happily say that it was the best concert experience period that I've ever had. Aside from all the technical stuff, I just had an absolute blast of a time with my friends the whole time. We could walk around, we went and got water so we could stay hydrated, we went to the back and danced like maniacs, and she sang to us and dear god it was absolutely amazing. Before it was so stressful to line up, stress about getting a good spot or whatever, but now it's like..... everywhere is wonderful and it put me in this insanely amazing mood to just..... be happy. We stayed up til 4am talking and saying how much FUN it was. This is an experience show. From videos and pictures you are going to have 10000000% different view and opinions than when you attend. I cannot properly express how much I love this show. I want to go to sooooo many more!
LilVenusian 579
I cant say im "underwhelmed" ever since I saw the damn tour poster i knew this was going to be a huge hot ass mess. This whole "raver" theme seems kind of beneath gaga, especially when she was giving us these epic, theater level productions with her previous tours. She looks like she put alot of thought into the stage but it still dosent come together in a nice coherent way. ie. The costumes are a damn mess, the choreography and staging is forgettable (the opening is hardly epic) to downright terrible (MJH with the chairs), Theirs no cool props or a story line. The whole thing reminds of some nonsensical messy raver circus. I just cant see what some people are seeing. Maybe your supposed to be high to appreciate it or something but the creative direction (compared to past tours) is such a step down, and ya'll delusional hoes will deal

alposnacks 1
The yellow wig was incorporated after/during the Telephone era. The Telephone outfit looked like the one from the video. The LoveGame nun headpiece was a rehash of the Alejandro video. The plastic outfit was from the Telephone era. The LoveGame train prop was directly from the LoveGame video/ MMVA performance. The Paparazzi outfit was a rehash of the origami dress. The Alejandro blood was inspired by her VMA paparazzi performance. The Bad Romance revolving metal thing (forgot what it's called ) is directly from the video. The eye pieces during Speechless. The headpiece during BDR. A lot of these are "inspired by" previous looks, not the exact same thing. The flying nun outfit and the Alejandro video are different enough that I felt like I was getting something new. And while there were some that are the exact same thing, like the gyroscope from BR, she added to it, in this case the metal dress and heels. For artRave she literally comes out in her seashell girl outfit and that's it. Same wig. Nothing new at all about it.

That's the only thing I can think of that's completely the same from the VMAs performance. Well, actually, not completely the same. The bikini is different. And the wig is just about as iconic as the yellow telephone wig, so....
alposnacks 1
So, just to clarify, this only about the seashell girl outfit, right? That's the only thing I can think of that's completely the same from the VMAs performance. Yeah just that is the only thing that's the same. The problem is it stands out more because there are way less outfits at artRave than at TMB. To keep the momentum going she limits her costume changes. DeleteMyAccount 11,881
I think that Gaga restricted herself a lot by making the theme of this tour into a rave. By doing that she wasn't able to put in certain songs and include a strong storyline. Like she said, this tour is a giant party. And that's exactly what it is. I do miss the theatrics of her past tours though.

Storyline isn't necessary. The set list is flawless. Overall I don't think the show is step down. I can't wait to go on Tuesday!
Ronk 14,762
Overall though there's no way you won't have a blast at artRave. I think this is the most important thing. I live outside the space time continuum.
Batwings 12,884
I was underwhelmed when I saw pics and videos. When I saw the show in Atlanta, it was amazing. I wasn't disappointed in the least.

thefamebitch 834
From what I've seen from videos, the artRAVE looks so much more exciting than the Born This Way Ball which looks like it could have been a snoozefest. Just my opinion. But I'm holding off on any final judgment until I see the show in person next week. On a slight side-note, damn some of you want everything don't you? Jeez, be grateful she's even touring again. Some of us haven't seen her since 2011 since TBTWB was canceled. I'm not saying everything she does we have to love wholeheartedly, but respect what she does. Respect the effort, the process and the undeniable talent.
