Stage and lighting is cool, her energy is great, which is enough for me to go and see her.

however, the setlist and those outfits and no real gaga shock/weird moment during the show is just very....

It bothers me that the majority of you put others down for having a slightly negative opinion.

I agree - I've been to both the Monster Ball and Born This Way Ball, both incredible shows.

This one does look a little underwhelming in comparison, still good however. Her vocals seem amazing, her energy is great - But the production itself doesn't seem to be on par of what we have previously seen.

And Gaga seems very happy to be touring and performing again so there's that.

The show looks like a good time.

Appreciate this side of Gaga. Appreciate the show. We may very well never get anything like this again.

Gaga could die tomorrow and people are seriously considering not going because they don't like the show based off of LQ YouTube videos from the ****tiest seats.

And this has nothing to do with the OP, but those people either have absurd standards for concerts, or they truly don't care that much for Gaga herself. I mean to not go because you don't like the set list or something? Really? Another Gaga tour is NOT a guarantee. Yet they're huffing and puffing like 5 year olds who don't like what their mother made for dinner.

I'm going for Gaga and the music. The theatrics are a plus, not a necessity for me.

I just have a problem with the outfits. They're just so random.

My name is yours! What's Probglum?

Attend the show first before making all those assumptions. Watching videos doesn't even give a sliver of how a concert is in person.

This, exactly.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Don't be rude, please. We're all entitled to our own opinions.

I loved artRave when I went in Atlanta but I had three problems with it

1) EVERY song was memorable and stood out during TMB. They all had their own unique set piece, prop or costume, minus maybe some of The Fame songs done in the beginning. artRave kinda all blurred together. I understand why: she wanted to keep the momentum going and have no breaks, but Lord I couldn't tell you about each performance individually like I could with TMB.

2) Correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but TMB 2.0 had original outfits and wigs. She reuses a lot in artRave, from the Venus outfit from the VMA performance to the G.U.Y. wig. It felt kinda lazy.

3) No real plot. Gaga is all THEAT-AHHH and that's why I love her. But not during this concert.

Overall though there's no way you won't have a blast at artRave.

The Monster Ball Tour had the Monster Ball, the Orbit, the firebra, the Living Dress, the Eternal Fountain. The Born This Way Ball Tour had the unicorn entrance, Mother GOAT, the alien outfit, the inflatable womb, the gagacycle, the floating dress. The artRAVE doesn't have anything memorable. She also doesn't sing anymore and it's sad. When I watched the Monster Ball, she really sang the song, the chorus, verses, but since TBTWB, she is using too much backing tracks, in this new tour she is using it even more. Neither she sings the chorus. I hate the Marina Abramovic philosophy of "more and more of less and less".

If people let go of her past work and are receptive to new material for better or for worse, they'll find it more enjoyable and easier to love the things she do.

The yellow wig was incorporated after/during the Telephone era.

The Telephone outfit looked like the one from the video.

The LoveGame nun headpiece was a rehash of the Alejandro video.

The plastic outfit was from the Telephone era.

The LoveGame train prop was directly from the LoveGame video/ MMVA performance.

The Paparazzi outfit was a rehash of the origami dress.

The Alejandro blood was inspired by her VMA paparazzi performance.

The Bad Romance revolving metal thing (forgot what it's called ) is directly from the video.

The eye pieces during Speechless.

The headpiece during BDR.

The list goes on.

Her tours are always a recap of the era. From the meat and the flesh tone latex at the BTW ball to the seashell girl at the ARTPOP ball. Calling it "lazy" is to completely forget what Gaga has been doing for the past 6 years. She references past imagery a lot.

It'd be like saying wearing versace during the TEOG performance is lazy because that's what she wore for the video. Like, come on dude.
