Rolodex of Hate 1,760
- I wouldn't recommend buying merch before the show. Once they scan your ticket and you get your wrist band me and three other people in front of me started running down the halls and ran up 2 escalators to even get the floor to get our spot and we didn't look back. I was so out of breath from running in 3-4 inch heels that fast. There was a man standing before the floor for lights (glow sticks, etc) but nobody paid any attention: they ran like hell and I was one of them. - That really depends on where you want to be. I got there at around 5:20 at Madison Square Garden for regular GA and when the sharpie was passed down (fan system) I was number 368 in line. Keep in mind that there is about 200-250 LMZ that gets in before you too but I'm really happy with where I was because I was so close and made eye contact with her when she was on the cat walks. She performs Venus right in front of you there on that middle section and it's absolutely amazing. For closer I would go earlier although I was late. - She barely reads the signs so I wouldn't really bring one. She did at my show for a "YASSSSS" sign but apparently security thought they were lying when they said she invited them backstage Some people are annoyed by them. - In the picture above with the green spot is where I stood. I'll go back and highlight the area where I was exactly after this post is done but it was a great view, you just can't see the main stage because of the cat walk in front of you. Screens are all over and you can see them well so it's not really that big of a deal. I didn't really see people moving around that much/moving their way through. - IT WAS AMAZING AND ROUND TWO IS TONIGHT IN PHILLY The red spot is where I was the entire night. Oh wow, that looks amazing, and thank you for being so helpful! So, if I don't have tickets for the ARTPOP Zone, is there no other way that I can get to go backstage? (Not that it would be likely anyway tbqh) Oh cool, are you going again tonight?! Wish I could afford to go twice Have you been to any other Gaga shows before? Just wondering if you have, how you think the artRave compares. Was it enjoyable? I'm so excited and I'm gonna have to wait til October We have no legal choice but to stan

Before Sexxx Dreams is when people throw up stuffed animals/gifts with letters attached to them and she usually picks one or two to read and then spot them in the crowd, talk a little, and invite them backstage after the show. I'm broke from my tickets but I went to MSG, tonight in Philly, and then Atlantic City in June So so so broke. I'm planning on throwing up a beanie baby or something tonight with my letter attached because I have LMZ and can get the main stage so I've been to the Monster Ball but my BTWB got cancelled. It was definitely a more rave/dance/party feel with everyone going crazy and having the time of their lives. artRave comes in at number 1 for me right now. Wow, you're so lucky to go more than once! :) I'm just going to one in Manchester (UK). I've never been to the Monster Ball, but I have been to the Born This Way Ball, but I was seated. So, where is it that she stops to accept gifts? Is it where you stood or on the Main Stage or somewhere different? For all your other dates, are you planning on heading to the spot where you were this time or somewhere else? What would you do differently this time? Hope you get to go backstage! She picks up the gifts on the main stage so if you plan to throw something or try to get her to read a letter I would try to be as close as to the main stage at the barricade as possible. For tonight I'm planning to head straight to the main stage at the barricade with LMZ so I can throw her my letter since I went with regular GA last time and stood near the cat walk/ARTPOP zone. Thank you!
thesmu 0
Agree. I stood in this same vicinity, but more towards the small circular stage. I was up against a barrier there, for those of you who mentioned wanting a barrier to avoid getting squished! You definitely have an obscured view of the main stage, but you can watch the screens if you can't see that well. I think that area is the best option because you can get close to her and her back won't be to you that often. Thank you, that's really helped me! :)

TRYMCNL 143
Middle runway. I stood near that and the corner between the middle runway and the one that branches off of the mainstage and it was great.

Gaga98 8
I have a question. I'm in GA and I really wanna buy the swinefest tshirt & one of the light up pacifiers for the show. But should I wait till after & risk them being sold out. But also if I wait until after the show I could possible catch one of the pacifiers the throw into the audience during the show right? Lana Winters 731
Thanks so much for all your help! Let us know how your spot by the main stage compares to your other spot. Have fun! I never came back and updated my experience but I have to say: main stage in the middle is definitely winning me over at the moment with a few days to think about it. She was so close and the eye contact was amazing. I saw what I didn't being where I was in NYC and even more. It wasn't as crowded up front surprisingly and by the end people were moving closer to the bridge especially for Gypsy so I had tons and tons of room to dance and jump up and down for the big encore. Everyone was. If I had to pick after experiencing both I would say the main stage is best.
pachinko 10,033
That's my issue as well. I went to the show in Pittsburgh and stood in between the main stage and the center cat walk. It was a perfect view of the main stage but when she performed on the center catwalk, her back was turned the whole time. So maybe it's better to stand in front of the catwalk (even though it's further from the main stage) I'm going to the Atlantic City show at the end of June so I'm hoping to figure it out by then. I am doing Atlantic City too. Are you early GA?

Bumping this thread so I don't annoy everyone with another "GA FLOOR ASSISTANCE" thread haha and I thought you were so helpful reading through these. So like everyone else, I'm conflicted between main stage and the catwalks. But is it possible to move your way through the floor? More specifically, enjoy most of the show from the catwalks and then try to move up to throw a gift come the time to? Or is that unacceptable? Also, what's the likelihood of being invited backstage from the catwalks, or during Gypsy/BTW? Or is that for APZ people? Thanks in advance! Blake 7,385
I really can't be bothered anymore with a spot. I'll stand at the barricade at the main stage and I'm just going to enjoy myself.

With the addition of Atlantic City and experiencing new spots I'm just going to leave this photo map of where I've stood in this thread: At Madison Square Garden I had no idea where I was going ---> I was going to go between the space between the bridge towards the cat walk and silly me panicking where I stood ended up being in the middle between ARTPOP Zone and the bridge. I ended up getting pushed back towards ARTPOP Zone and it really was an amazing spot. You could see her performances on the bridge well and when she was on the piano you got a perfect view. At Philly I knew I wanted her to read my letter and I wanted to take advantage of LMZ so I went to the main stage and I have to say that was the most amazing spot ever. Definitely beat Madison Square Garden. You're heart pounding when she rises for ARTPOP is indescribable and if you're worried about not being able to see her on the cat walks the only part you're missing is the piano segment which is only one and half songs but she's displayed on the backdrop. That combined with her ass facing you during Venus (not that I cared ) that is really is the only downside to main stage. If you have the chance, I would go for the main stage. Now comes Atlantic City. This is where my friends and I decided to go to the bridge. They had regular general admission and I had little monster zone again. When I was let in I was standing directly in front of the bridge and it was perfect. There was only about five other people there too and everyone crowded to the main stage to which I'm actually surprised... Nobody even attempted to stand at the cross section between the bridge and cat walk. People were assholes at this show and we ended up getting pushed back to the middle of the section again but still somewhat in the front so we were perfect until I literally got attacked during the show over and over and over again by some crazed fan. My friend and I had enough and decided to move out of the "pit" area and go on the outside of the right cat walk like in the picture above. THAT WAS AMAZING. Nobody is crowded over there. People are dancing and moving around and having a good time like an actual party/rave. You can walk back and forth underneath the cat walks during certain parts if you want to and I have to admit standing under the first part of the cat walk you can see the main stage amazingly well. You had all the room in the world to dance and be free and have a great time and I'm glad we ended up going over there. Afterwards while waiting for Gypsy we looped around to ARTPOP Zone again on the other side and had an amazing view for Gypsy as well. If you're in the middle: you won't be able to move around. If you're outside of the cat walks: move around freely. If you want an amazing view of the entire show/have an opportunity for Gaga to read your letter: go to the main stage. If you want to have an amazing time and move around/dance like an actual party: go outside of the cat walks If you want to have a good view but also deal with the potential craziness: go for the bridge.
