RedandBlue 287 Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 Hi guys, I'm sure there has been a topic similar to this but to tell you the truth, I'm actually covering the rest of the GGD site with my hand to avoid seeing any spoilers. So, without anything about the content, such as songs, etc, where is the optimal location for general admossion ticketholders to stand. We don't plan on getting there ridiculously early, maybe just a few hours. I feel that we should be good because of the runway setup, and we should end up pretty close to one of those platforms if we don't get close enough to the main stage. Would I be facing her back if she's on that platform though? Does she stand on any one platform for a reasonably long time? I would be happy if I'm not that close to the main stage, yet extremely close to her on the platforms at certain points during the show. I'm going GA, I don't want spoilers and I cover GGD with my hand!!! Just wanted to say - Don't worry if you accidentally see an image on GGD. Seeing one of the images (as I have a few times) is not going to spoil anything, it will only get you more excited! The only real thing is to avoid watching videos of the concert, but the odd pic won't do any harm, I promise. (I understand where you're coming from with not wanting to be spoiled, but the pics aren't really spoilers and they look awesome! Gaga often puts pictures of the tour in the tourbook for people to look at before the concert even starts anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much!) Anyway, enjoy your show! This is exactly what I was hoping for actually. This way, most people will go straight to the main stage. I feel that the concentrated pocket would probably be the best bet for seeing all areas of the stage anyway, and standing a bit to the side of it should get us a good view too. Thank you!! You're welcome! For the Born This Way Ball, I stood outside the Pit, in the middle of the center part of the catwalk and it was the most awesome view. I think this will be similar for artRAVE! She seemed to be there a lot, and you will still have a great view of the main stage and other parts of the runway. Just wondering, have you not seen any spoilers at all? ie. do you know what the stage looks like/ when you first entered GGD did you not see any of the fashion? (PS - When are you going? Don't know enough about the concert to answer what you asked (sorry!) but a) Did you like the octopus dress? I think it's great! b) Oooh Madison Square Garden nicee! c) Who's opening for you? d) Have you ever been to any of her concerts before? e) Are you taking any signs? f) Have the time of your life! Also, if you're standing, as soon as the doors open, don't go to merch, just run (fast walk) straight to the floor and keep your place! Also, if you really wanna get nearer to the front, the interval after an opening act is often a good time because people in the crowd will often leave for drinks/not be interested at that point, so take your chance then and get to the front, because once Gaga's on, you have no chance! Also, do you have the ARTPOP App, because apparently that does cool things when you take it to the artRave. And as far as spoilers go, it's gonna be hard for me to avoid them as my show's in October!
