Mr Ricky 8,969
I think the title is a bit offended to the ones that make mashups tho.. They put effort in the work, they are proud of themselves. I know some are not good and some are.. but saying that 'ur sick' of mashups , just brings it up, not appriciating the work people do. What if they cant remix? Has any of you considered that question in their mind? Its just what I thought tho.. I mean, give them a chance, if they can't remix, and only make mashups, there is no need to be sick of it. Then either don't listen to it. Crossfit
INNA 3,558
I have never heard a decent mashup from this forum :toofunny: fragment-fragment--bul-uh...scab-uh..fragment-foot, bullet fragment foot bich!
Hair 2
I love mashups! I just hate when people mix two completely different songs..
Benji 20,113
I love mash-ups, in my opinion it is getting old where people are making them with just two of Gaga's songs, I prefer the more adventurous mash-ups  but some of the mash-ups people have made on here are really good! dolly 1
I agree a true remix is a wonderful pleasure, but I am also of the opinion that any audio is good audio, so I never mind the mashes we get. A true remixer I know here is U-Go-Boy, and of course Has4Fever (Ricky). You can PM them for some goodies. And when all else fails, type Gaga into YouTube's search bar. If I didn't have so much crap to do, I'd get lost in YouTube remixes for hours and hours and hours. Been so out of it lately I might go do just that I'm talking about on this board, not in general. I know how to find remixes outside of this board. If you don't like them, don't listen to them. No one is holding you at gunpoint and forcing you to listen to them. that's true, but when you see every other post as a mash up it tends to be tedious. dolly 1
This was the first mashup ever made... This is amazing. But it gets annoying when it's all you do, and you don't try to make the songs in a variety of ranges, then every single thing we see on the gaga board are mashups of gaga songs. I mean have some range. And yes no one is holding a gun to my head. But maybe I'd like to see some range on a page that I go to to that I want to hear gaga remixes. Try something new. Try mashing up two completely different genres of songs rather than two of her songs. I mean, if you're going to do it, at least try to be different. I mean the "then don't listen" thing doesn't work, because they still fill up the board. And yes, many have crappy names. This isn't criticizing all mashups, it's just suggesting people be a little more creative. I mean really.
Lana Del Rey 1
Is anyone sick of people complaining about things they can easily avoid?
Bambino 24,122
I'm not. It's just another way for people to show their creativity.
dolly 1
Is anyone sick of people complaining about things they can easily avoid? I dunno, it's like if you went to the gaga board and saw a bunch of people posting about madonna on there. You can avoid those posts, you know. HausOfJono 4
The only thing I don't like about them is how many mashups there are of GaGa's music with music released by Britney Spears. I'm not trying to fuel the flames of the stan war or anything, but their music just doesn't go together. I don't like those mashups. I don't have to listen to them. I know that, but I think people who make those mashups could spend their time and effort into making better pieces of music than what they make. For example, a remix of a single GaGa song would be nice, as you said. Look. I am by no means a Britney stan, but I think her music is well-produced, and I think this definitely does go together:

I'd rather the instrumental be altered than the vocals. The thing is, I don't usually think of mashups like this one when I think of mashups. I usually only think of the ones that have vocals of both songs. That's my problem, I suppose, but that's how I think of them.

I tend to never make mashups with both vocals on, because, simply put, that's where mashups go bad. :P
