Honestly, none of her singles "scream rave", it's all pop dance music, so she could've made many songs work by simply remixing them.

Scheisse and Heavy Metal Lover I think are much more fun and energetic then Do What U Want or Cake, but the tour still looks very exciting

so you're implying DWUW, Fashion!, ARTPOP, Donatella, Venus, MANiCURE, Gypsy, Applause, and JND would all totally be played at an actual rave...?     give me a ****ing break... most of you know absolute jack **** about PLUR and the lifestyle... NEWS FLASH, DayGlow and the gay bars you party at each week arent what a RAVE are... just because somewhere plays music you can remotely dance to doesnt constitute a "rave"... the closest thing gaga has ever come to producing any kind of rave appropriate music was the brief week we thought Audrey Napoleon was gonna be a producer  ... sorry but they dont play zedd's top 40 stay the night kinda music at raves... yall need to make a PLUR friend or two so you can know what the hell you are talking about

I think Gaga wanted to have something more fun than BTW. The songs and the memories aren't all that happy to her imo. Plus she did say she wanted to sing all or most of AP on the tour. TF/TFM barely got an representation either, but they were her bigger albums, so naturally she will sing them. This is Gaga, she's still a pop star and right now she is planning to snatch all of the weaves. 

smh. PLUR. dammit, follow your own rules and stop ripping at each other's throat.

Well, not the singles, but Scheiße and Heavy Metal Lover do sound like they could be performed at the ArtRAVE. I know she's performing past singles (Telephone, Paparazzi, Alejandro) that are not "Ravey" enough but have to be there because of her career. But the whole point of the ARTPOP Ball is for it to fit the Rave theme, and it does (I've only seen a couple of videos). Of course, there are songs like Fashion! that have to be performed because it's from the new album, but it's nice to see a mix of everything. I get why she wants to give the attention to ARTPOP and not Born This Way at this moment. Born This Way is a very special album to her and to many of her fans (myself included). 

 

I guess Born This Way wouldn't really fit the whole theme of the tour, so that's why we don't get to see Dope live (right now).

 

And again, ARTPOP is NOT rave music. Swine may be this super party song, along with Partynauseous but come on, she just wants the fans to have some fun.

 

She went through her "Serious" phase with Born This Way and it was too deep and meaningful, but I guess she just wants to have some fun right now. Just look at ARTPOP, The Fame and The Fame Monster. It's all dance music that doesn't really have a deep meaning like The Edge of Glory, Marry The Night, Judas or any other song that'd create this kind of "sad" or deep memories.
