PoshLife 16,904
is this cuz they realized we mostly just used the pools to drown our sims? (nah that's a really old thing)
Noel Kahn 2
What about pools? I don't get why they'd remove it. Although I don't use it, it's a core feature in Sims series. I couldn't care less about toddlers though.

I couldn't care less about toddlers though. Okay, I really don't mind the toddler thing, but pools have been available since the beginning... I don't understand why they would substitute pools with fountains... So prepare for your 1 year old baby to suddenly be 8 year olds and go to school from one day to another Toddlers are so fun , they just removed them so they could have stuff on their new generatios type exp pack. I honestly hate babies and toddlers, they're such a chore.
KrisFromMars 9
Meh, i'm just waiting for the game to release to give my full honest opinion... Best post in the thread!
KrisFromMars 9
This is the first time a game sequel is a total downgrade. Loading screens, missing features, lousy graphics... wtf? The sims is having ha ARTPOP impact tbh :cryga:

ithinkweed 142
I'm not so sure that will be possible with EA's new DRM software. The new Sim City game isn't pirateable but the new Sim City is multiplayer and requires internet connection, while TS4 doesn't. I think it will be pirateable
Sugarfall 3,723
NO POOLS?! NO TODDLERS?! LOADING SCREENS EA is getting way too greedy No Create A Style Tool either What's that, sorry I don't know the English terms for Sims?
lodylody 1,723
What's that, sorry I don't know the English terms for Sims? It's fine! :) It's the tool you use to customise anything with different patterns and colours, in both house-building and Sim making.
mcphee 1,778
The game has been a massive disappointment to me, I'm really upset about how its all went. As it stands, currently, there is a loading screen per district - This means you can access one lot and the entire open area of that district. However, if you want to visit another lot in that same district - there is a loading screen. They have completely cut a life stage, and a crucial one at that. Now sim babies will age straight to children. Teens are the same heights as adults, they look virtually the same. No create a style. Only basic presets. There are no terrain sculpting tools, and a four-floor limit on builds. No pools either. No news on cars, with major speculation that they are just decorative - like the tram and steamboat in the neighbourhoods. They cannot be interacted with. Basically, its an incomplete game. I'm sad to say I won't be buying it - unless something major comes along and blows my mind, which I highly doubt. I hope the game is delayed and we get the basics we deserve for a base game. It is already more expensive than TS3 Base game and it has way way way less.
SweetEscape 654
I don't want my sims to die from laughing too hard, I want them to die coz they're stuck in a f*cking pool

Well fvck this My favourite thing in TS3 has been creating pretty sims and building huge houses and how realistic and personal they can be made into. Even more confirmation to me not buying it.
