Psychedelic 1,098
Applause... I always knew it'd be the shovel for her own grave, it had moderate succes just because it was the 1st single for a new album of an artist that was coming from a huge peak in her career! Sorry... not sorry!

wahkeenasitka 1,995
JUDAS, it was the start of the end. Judas. IMO releasing it was a big mistake. I totally get it. But, the music video for JUDAS is one of her finest videos to date. It is a masterpiece. I would choose... The Edge of Glory The Edge of Glory. Loathe the song. The music video is underwhelming. & this one: Eh, Eh. There wouldn't be a difference anyways. worst single out of Gaga's entire canon.

LilVenusian 579
I would erase "Do What U Want" from human existance so Venus would'nt have been cheated out of its destiny as ARTPOP'S iconic era defining hit. #JUSTICE4VENUS #STILLPRESSED
LilVenusian 579
Applause... I always knew it'd be the shovel for her own grave, it had moderate succes just because it was the 1st single for a new album of an artist that was coming from a huge peak in her career! Sorry... not sorry! I have to disagree. It was probably one of the saving graces of this era. Its popularity was really sustained and it didnt drop like a rock after a week like DWUW did. I think people genuinely liked Applause, it was very sing-alongable classic gaga whilst still bringing something a lil new to the table. The perfect way to start an era. If anything DWUW was the nail in the coffin of this era. All the bad publicity, the new unfamiliar Rnb sound (alot of my non-gaga friends didnt even know it was her singing on that track). And the poorly handled promotion and lack of video was such a momentum killer, obviously affectinh GUY's performance and reception. Just my opinion. CakeLikeLG 6,275
G.U.Y because it ruined chances for Gypsy to be a decent hit. When was the last time 4th single from major pop girl was successful?(besides E.T.) live each day like Gaga might drop an album
