Saint Laurent 4,862
Have a nice life as a woman-hater. Just keep continuing being slanderous, and I'll continue to love my classy, non fame whoring women
SpaceAce 1,058
Just keep continuing being slanderous, and I'll continue to love my classy, non fame whoring women You can't apply your reasoning to one group of women and not to another who have basically been through the same situations. If these girls Terry abused are "sluts" then by your logic, so is Gaga. After using derogatory and s-xist terms, as well as taking my lead and using the word "idiot", what exactly are you reporting? It's clear through our conversation and your actions that you have no self awareness. Grow up and do better. Who ****ing cares Gaga can work with whoever she wans You're right. Us folk who have suffered from abuse should keep our mouths shut about being offended by having someone we respect praising and promoting the work of a s-xual predator. What right do we have to suggest that she should try working with someone who doesn't hurt people? My bad.

Yetta 0
I totally agree with you OP it's so disappointing to see Gaga working with this man after all the accusations that have come out. I wish she would acknowledge them instead of completely ignoring them. It's very hypocritical of her to make performances about rape and then continue working with someone like Terry. It's also pathetic how many people are defending Terry in this thread. The only reason why anyone is defending him anyway is because he's working with gaga. I'm sure if they never worked together this conversation would be a lot different. But you know Gaga can do no wrong so he must be a good guy =]. It's disgusting that people are calling the women that Terry abused sluts too honestly it is unbelievable. Thanks for making this thread because a lot of this fanbase ignores this big problem and I know people are going to keep telling you you're wrong but this is important for people to know! tokyodisko 0
Gaga doesn't sleep with people for her career honey, that's the difference here. Right. Gaga's an angel. She's never done anything shady to get ahead. Ever. Also, it's not furthering their careers if they quit the industry, because of him. If that's true that they quit then your argument is totally invalid. lol
Celina 118
I don't hold this against Gaga, because I think it's obvious what her stance on the general issue would be. However, I worry that she might be too naive in this case, and I do wish she wouldn't work with him. Ridic. But Mick is actually making a good point with that response... Gaga did imply that she went through similar experiences when she was younger (the only difference is that she didn't name anyone or explicitly state what happened), so you'd be insulting her as well. From your posts, it seems like you're blaming the (young, inexperienced) women instead of the (successful, much older) man who pressured them... As if he's not doing anything wrong, but the women are just "sluts." I'm hoping we simply misunderstood.

I don't think she purposefully ignores this because she doesnt care but rather because she chooses to be naive in order to see the best in the people around her. I'm sure finding good friends in her industry isn't easy. Because Gaga isn't remotely a fame *****. I agree. It's sickening how people are supporting him. I don't know how people can turn their heads and make these claims that everything must be proven in the "court of law". The justice system isn't infallible. Leninsdog 3
I'm not blaming anyone and of course taking advantage of someone is wrong, but if u can say no, then say no and leave the ****ing situation. You have to just think a little bit from another point of view. Imagine you work as a clerk or something and you have debts or you are working really hard and deserver a promotion. You have to stay in a job but your boss is doing the same thing Terry is doing. Would it be okay to say no and step down? Step down after all the work and sacrifice you went through? This is the exact same thing as coming out of closet. Unless people speak up for themselves nothing changes. Look how Gaga got all those bad press when she made an album like Born This Way. It's the same thing. I don't really think that someone like this should enjoy that wealthy life by taking advantage of others. That model might have been starved for days or exercised for years to have that body. Took classes and worked hard for her job. But even though she was lazy would this make the situation different? Just put yourself in her position. Would you've speak up for change and allow this craziness go on forever?
Slayer 9,227
He's exploitative and creepy and I can't understand why SO MANY seemingly level-headed celebrities are friendly with him and continue to support his work. Every celeb who comes into contact with him ends up the subject of overtly s-xualised photos, so I have no problem believing the allegations that women make about him. Besides, his photography is nothing special at all and the fact he gets someone else to take pictures of him standing next to celebs says all you really need to know about him as a "serious photographer." I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
LadyAshwee 0
What a fantastic read! I'm glad you brought light to this issue. I'd of course like to think that Gaga would obviously not be so close with someone who was like that. It also makes me wonder if he's ever tried to make advances with her o.O lol. As for R. Kelly, I never understood why she chose him of all people to work with. She pretty much resurrected his career for another 15 minutes of fame...but why? She's got to have known what his career initially ended over, I don't think she's that oblivious. It does make you wonder why she would work with them....
