Lady Gaga continues the promotional tour for her new album Joanne, which made a big debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart this week, with a stop in Tokyo, Japan. Mother Monster visited the popular Japanese show Sukkiri on Tuesday to belt out an acoustic version of her song "Perfect Illusion" and it was absolutely stunning.
"I used to always be afraid to show certain sides of my self," Gaga said of the emotional performance. "But with this music I cannot hide because wrote it from the deepest parts of my sold. There's days where you're just with yourself and your thoughts. And you think to yourself, 'What am I really feeling, where is the pain exactly?' So every time I sing this song, it's different because I'm always trying to go to that place."
