My incredible (and extremely long) artRAVE journey

I have finally found enough time to post this. It's been about two weeks since my last show and i'm still attempting to catch up on reality  
 

Where do i begin?

 

It all started in the United states. I had saved all my money up and worked so hard to live my dream of seeing Gaga in the states. I attended the first Vegas show and both of the LA shows and it was honestly one of the best things I have ever decided to do in life. I finally had the opportunity to meet so many friends I had made over the years of being on GGD and twitter that I never thought i'd be able to meet. I had been talking to these people for years and the fact that I was finally talking to them in person was so amazing. A few mentions: I got to meet robvic, chica (who was so incredibly sweet ), morgan, jess, marc and there are so many others I just know i'm forgetting 

 

The american shows were absolutely AMAZING. It was such a different experience coming from Australia. The energy of the crowd, the arena, spirit and love from the fans was so genuine and so real. Everyone looked so amazing and were all together for the same reason. There was no shadiness, no b---hing just love. I remember during my last show during gypsy I balled out crying because gaga said "This song is about my fans who travel all around the world just to see me". I was so sad for it to all be over and that I soon had to say goodbye to all the amazing friends I got to meet for the first time but also the new ones that I made.

I got back from the US and had only three weeks until my next show! I was seeing Gaga another 5 times and my body as still so dead from the US shows. 

 

The Australian shows arrived and gaga had arrived in melbourne! I hadn't met gaga for a year and the last time I had met her was backstage at swinefest (long story). I was so anxious because I really wanted to thank her for flying me to london and just to say hello. Anyway, I waited patiently at her hotel and I was lucky enough to meet and talk to her!

In the video, I gave gaga RoboAsia which I made as a gift for her. 

 

Then came the first Melbourne show and for some odd reason my friends and i made the decision to go line up early even though we had LMZ It was 2am and we made a spontaneous decision to go line up so we LEGIT took the hotel blanket and all the pillows and had to sneak past reception and then get into a cab. The looks we got from the cab driver made my whole year lmao.

 

The first melbourne show was BEYOND amazing. Such a different experience from the US Shows. Having all my close friends there and all of us were dancing and having a great time. We had barrier at this show near where Gaga does DWUW. 

 

During gypsy, I grabbed my friends hands and I told them let's go to the back and make a friendship circle. It was 5 friends and I who began to form in a circle and we wanted to just sing and dance together. People had seen us congregate and began to join in. It was the best idea ever because it was so fitting to the song and a perfect way to end the show. 

 

After the show had ended, Gaga had claimed she was going out clubbing and it was rumoured she was attending starlights after party. We were lucky we had a VIP booking to get in!

 

We get back from the show and our bodies were dead but we were excited to go possibly see Gaga and the haus. We eventually found out she didn't turn up (Still had fun regardless) and that she went to a bar instead. It was 4am when we were done and we spontaneously all decided to try and meet gaga at her hotel drunk. We waited, waitied, waited and then it began to rain. We were about to give up when just as we notice her vans pull up! There was only 8 of us, the vans had stopped opening the door revealing gaga drunk AF in her seat. We were going to meet drunkyga! I was so excited. Then out of no where, I am NOT joking, Paparazzi jumped out of no where and pushed in front of us and ruined our chances as they were not listening to security. Peter closed her door and I remember seeing drunkga facepalm because she saw that 8 fans had been there but it was deemed unsafe because of those idiots. 

 

Second show, which was the day after the first. We rocked up legit 5pm with normal GA tickets and for some reason we ended up with the same spot as last time haha. For this show we had decided to just follow gaga around, dance and not worry too much about keeping our spots and what a great decision that was. My friends and I helped our friend get her jacket on stage and it was a success! Gaga sang brooklyn nights because of her and she sang it directly to us! We then just followed gaga around the stage, running around and dancing and let me tell you, this is the BEST way to experience the show. You honestly do not have to line up that early.

 

After the show had ended, we rushed to gaga's hotel to catch another glimpse of her! I was fortunate enough to meet her again (it was CHAOTIC) and I got to give her my ARTPOP Koala that I made. She saw it and came straight up to me and told me she loved it, she was going to sign my applause vinyl but It was so chaotic that I just decided to take a photo first. Gaga was cute enough to pose with the koala in everyones photos including the paps!

Next stop: Brisbane!

We quickly arrived in brisbane, tired and dead again. We all quickly got ready to catch gaga's arrival and waited for hours only to find out she wasn't arriving and she had decided to spend a day in Melbourne to rest.

 

Brisbane show: I thought this show would honestly be the most average just because I don't like the city very much and it was rumoured the show sold poorly (It didn't at all!). I was debating about whether I should throw my jacket up on stage at around 4pm at the hotel just before we left for the show and a last minute decision was made and I wrote out a letter and decided I was going to throw my jacket. It came to Venus and I was standing directly under Gaga. Just as the song was ending I threw my jacket up! Fortunately no other jackets were thrown up and gaga was stepping on mine. I was so nervous, I really wanted her to wear it as it was my favourite artRAVE outfit. She put the jacket on and I began to get weak. She began to talk as she usually does and wasn't reading the letter so my friends all began to yell "READ THE LETTER". She started to read the letter and that was the death of me. I have honestly never cried so much before. She was reading my personal letter which I wrote to her in front of thousands. I then got asked to come backstage with some of my friends.

I then helped my other friend get her jacket worn by gaga and guess what? She got on stage! I cried so much during the whole show, danced and had the best time of my life.

Then we waited to go backstage. We were put in a holding room and were told that gaga would come to us soon to take photos and then we would have to leave. An hour or more passed (and i had begun to feed off of the free food i could find haha) and then we were told that GAGA WANTED US IN THE Q&A. I honestly died. We walk in to Gaga already talking and get told to sit down. As we walk in Gaga says "Oh! These are the people i personally chose to come backstage". I won't go into too much detail about what happened backstage but let me just tell you it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Gaga had told us about how she wanted to bring the BTWB back, she wanted a concept album as Jo, she told us personal stories about perez and I also got the chance to ask her a question about confirming if she's still going to space. Which the answer was yes. 

 

It was time for photos! When gaga saw me she said "Look at youuuuu!! Backstage again!!" (I'm assuming she was talking about swinefest). She then went onto call me her little raver boy and I thanked her for everything. We took our photo and to my surprise she leaned over and grabber my pacifier with her hand and posed with it. I was so worried she would put it in her mouth because I was so sick and I didn't want her to catch it lmao. I then told her I would see her in sydney and she said "Cya there baby!". 

 

After that had ended, a friend of ours hadn't met her and really wanted to. He waited for us all by himself so my friends and I wanted to help him. We caught a cab to Gagas hotel and JUST as we got there she turned up! We had to be escorted to the end so we weren't positive she would meet us. To our surprise she came up to us first! I thanked her for taking us backstage.

Next stop: Sydney! The flight was the next day (which was like in 4 hours from when I met gaga at the hotel) and I missed it because I slept in! After complications of booking a new flight we got to sydney! We were waiting for her iconic sydney arrival as her previous two entries into the city were breathtaking! We then heard she went straight from the airport to the Queen show. We came back to Gaga's hotel late and waited for her then! She arrived and was wearing the AFRO! I was freaking out. I was fortunate again to get a photo and most people did as it was pretty calm. 

 

My friend had the camera so I called him to take the photo and he hadn't heard me. He then took a couple of seconds to turn it on and I remember I just started playing with Gaga's wig lmaooo it was so unexpected because I just did it naturally as we were waiting. I told her she looked amazing

 

 

Then came the sydney shows! Once again we rocked up around 4-5pm for both the shows and I had the most amazing fun during these two shows as they were my last. We ran, we danced, we cried and we raved. It was the greatest time. 

 

During gypsy, at the last show we began to the gypsy circle and held up signs saying "4 LIFE" and to our surprise gaga had noticed it and sung that line before she started the song! We all held each others hands tight and skipped, sung and cried. The gypsy circle was amazing as it started off with 5 of my friends and then we ended up having 3 FULL Circles by the last show. Not everyone knew each other but we held each others hands and lived the moment together. Gaga then went on to tweet about it and how much she loved it. She saw us every night. My friend, Sam and I also spoke to her backstage about it and she couldn't stop talking about her love for the idea and how that's what the show is all about. It was the most perfect ending to the whole experience. 

 

I know this is EXTREMELY long but I truly had the most amazing time of my life during this journey and it's all thanks to Gaga and little monsters. I am so thankful for everything that this woman has done for me and for us and my love for her is endless
